Dave woke up in a cold sweat, tears filled his eyes as he checked the time on his watch. It was already 6:13 in the morning. Dave rushed out of bed trying Not to trip over the piles of boxes and suitcase's, as Dave was getting dressed he kept wondering, would it be the same, would it feel the same after all of these years? There was only one way that his questions could be answered.
Once Dave finished getting ready he packed up his supplies and got ready to leave. Dave knew for a while now that he had no choice but to go back there, so prior to him leaving Texas he sold all of the junk he didn't need or care about and he packed up the rest of what he had to take with him. Dave got to his car and started loading it up with the boxes of stuff that he had saved, while loading up the car he looked back at his apartment building one last time, he was supprised when he felt sad knowing that he would most likely never see his apartment again, even though it wasn't the best apartment in Austin. Once Dave filled the car with boxes and suitcase's he hoped in the car and began to drive to the airport.
Dave reached the airport, logged in, got his ticket and waited for his flight to be ready, he examined his ticket, Flight 017: Seat 24B: Dave L. Everything was right, it felt like everything was going to run smoothly, he would get in the plane and they would fly to Lavender City safely, but he knew that wouldn't be the case, he didn't know why he felt like something would go wrong, he just did.
As Dave was waiting for his flight to be ready he decided that he would go through some old memory books he had found of his family, he opened the first page and quickly realized how bad if an idea this was, Dave could barely make out the foggy photos in the book but he knew what the photos were taken of, the only photo he felt like looking at was the one on the first page, it was a photo of Dave's family, to the far left and the tallest of the four was Dave's father, he had light blonde hair and amazing blue eyes, Dave was supprised how much he looked like his father, it was no surprise that he was named after him, to the right of the photo was Dave's mom, she had long dark hair with the same magical blue eyes, and below Dave's parents were him and his brother Eden, Eden looked like his mom, with dark hair and ice blue eyes, Dave closed the book and put it back in his suitcase, he looked at the time, it was 8:27am his flight should be ready soon, Dave looked around at the other soon to be passengers and then he heard over the intercom "Flight 017 ready for departure." Dave stood up and walked over to the entrance tunnel, turned in his ticket, and boarded the plane.Dave passed by other passengers, who had boarded before him, stuff suitcase's and backpacks in to the overhead bins, some people were even stuffing their luggage under their seat. Dave pushed his way through the crowd of people and eventually made it to seat 24B.
Dave sat down in what he thought to be the best seat on the plane, the window was in the best spot, there was a perfect amount of leg room, and the seat was comfortable enough to take a nap, and so that's exactly what Dave did. There was nothing, it was empty, it was quiet, until it wasn't.
Dave awoke from his dream in a panic he felt like he had died, but he didn't, he was alive, Dave started to calm down, he remembered where he was, he knew he was safe, but than it started again, Dave didn't feel safe, he felt like this plane could blow at any moment, he was panicking, he didn't know what to do. He didn't have to do anything, within seconds the planes left engine was struck by something causing it to catch fire and explode, the planes left wing was lit aflame aswell and Dave could feel the planes early decent.
Dave sat there, the only one not screaming and panicking, but he didn't know that, he had tuned out everything happening around him, he couldn't even hear the plane hit the ground.
