Blaise hurtled through oblivion, now used to the stomach-flipping feeling of falling, and dropped into a crouch on the other side. He stood up and ran, weaving around tall pine trees that reached for the clear blue sky with needles fingers, and clambered up the crag to the top. He breathed a sigh of relief. Ever since becoming a god, Blaise had longed for the quiet of his paradise dimension. Before he'd had to stab her during Yana's battle with Houzzah, Glaidi had told him it would get easier with time. That he'd grow used to feeling like the temple was his home. But for the moment he still longed for the calm familiarity of his forest. It's wasn't that he didn't get on with the other gods: Blaise had instantly liked Rowan. The two were quite similar in there fierce protectiveness of those they cared for, and had both lived through battles and changing times. Alex was friendly and got on well with Yana. Yana and Rowan often bickered, but there as no harm in it. They were like brother and sister, though they argued much louder than Yana and Ampelio ever had.Yana Blaise couldn't get her off his mind. He'd thought long and hard about what she said. Then he'd thought long and hard about the way her blue eyes seemed to pierce his soul. The way she smiled slowly at first, as if she was shy about it, then all at once. How, when she laughed at something he had said, he always thought her laugh was just the most wonderful thing in the world, and that he'd do anything to hear it once more. Shit. He thought, I'm in love again aren't I?The thought made him giddy and excited and sick all at once. What a soppy bastard I am...Blaise gazed at the view and spotted something slatebgrey that stretched from the very edge of the island, to another in the distance. Had that been there before? He scrambled down the hill towards it...Millions of individual hexagonal pillars of grey stone rose out of the water, coming together to form a bridge over the ocean. Blaise jumped down the bank and started to walk across it. As he got further across he saw that the island in question had a towering volcano in the middle of it with vegetation groaning up the side, painting it a lush green. A thick black smudge streaked down one side, meandering down the slope until it reached the back sands below. He was near enough now to see a tall, beautiful girl with long ice white hair willing down her back, racing towards him over the bridge. It was Yana. Blaise instantly picked up speed, running towards her until her was by her side, holding her hands in his as they met halfway across. "Blaise!" Yana gasped, a little breathless from the run. "How... what...?" Blaise chuckled, "Don't you see Yana? Our worlds are connected somehow!" He exclaimed, a grin appearing on his face. Yana's brow furrowed, "But... only lovers worlds are connected." Blaise pulled her close, "Exactly," he whispered, then gathered her up arms and kissed her.
