<Ryder's POV>

I stared at her. Her eyes darted back and forth searching for something. I took a step forward. Lucas  grabbed my arm and stopped. I yanked it away and walked to Athena. She backed away from me, like a frightened animal in a cage. I broke my heart to see her like this. I reached out my hand and placed it on her head. Her eyes widened and her body froze. I called upon Selene to help me help her. 

What is is Ryder? Her voice floated through my head. 

Its my Mate, I don't know what's wrong with her. I told her. 

Ok, Ryder just show me what is wrong. She responded. Her voice was gentle like a mothers.

I opened my mind to her so that she could see what I am seeing. Athena in her wolf form. Her blood red eyes and fur. I could hear Selene grasp. I could feel her shock and her worry. 

Selene! What wrong with her!?! I asked.

She has been cursed by Hades. Selene was pissed. I will lend you my power to heal her. But be warned. This will happen again, and when  it does you need to lock her up. Call me when this Happens. I'm sorry. I could feel the familiar warmth rush down to my hand. Athena's fur began to fade back to its beautiful white. Her eyes became blue again. With that, Selene left. 

Athena shifted into a human and collapsed. I quickly cover her up his me shirt. I looked at the other wolves and a few came forward to help. They carried her to the Pack hospital. 

She lay in the bed. Her chest rising and falling with each breath she took. Her black Wavy hair spread out around her like a Halo. Pale skin shone under the LED lights in the room. I resisted the urge to touch her round lips. Everything about her made my body warm. Not to mention her scent. Like Flowers were all around me. 

One of the Pack members came into the room. They handed me a letter addressed to me. It had a red stamp with a Rose in the Middle. It was a Letter from the White Rose Pack. I sighed and Opened. In the the letter it talked about a banquet being held for all the Alphas and there Luna's. I normally don't go to these because I don't see the point, but it also said that there was a meeting for a upcoming war. The Silver Rod Pack waged war with all the pack. As the Alpha King it is my duty to run the war counseling. 

Athena stirred in her bed and I set the letter aside immediately. She opened her eyes and I was relived. Though when she saw me she jolted up and scooted to the side of the bed. Her stare was cautious. Like she expected me to do something. I got up and she flinched. 

"Pack your bags." I said simply.

"Wait, what!" She stuttered. 

"I need to go to a meeting at the White Rose Pack. As the Luna you are required to go." I sighed.

"Well then I'm not the Luna" She growled. 

Before she could move I pinned her down on the Hospital bed. "You are mine. Understand that. Soon I will mark you" I said as bent down to her neck. Her body heated up under mine. Her scent was growing stronger and was driving my Wolf crazy. I pulled away before I did anything i would regret. "But I will wait." With that I left the room.
