I wanted her. I want each and every part of her. But I can't. She is a rouge. Didn't want her to know that we were mates. But Orion, my wolf, couldn't hold back. Now I was sitting on my desk

I put my fingers on my bottom lip. I could still feel the faint sparks. We didn't kiss. But we almost had. I can't have this distraction. I needed to focus on my pack. Mates are a distraction. I am the Alpha King for a reason. There is something different about her. She is an Angel with Black Wings. I can't get her out of my head. I took a deep breath.

There is a reason why I am the Alpha King. Why I am so strong. Is because I have a goddess on my side. Selene.

"Did you call me?" A voice said in front of me. I looked up and saw a girl. She had blond hair that was so light that it almost looked white. Her eyes shine like moons and her dress was made of stars.

"Hello Selene." I said in a tired voice. "I found my mate-" I was interrupted by a squeal. Selene was jumping up and down smiling. "For a Goddess you can act like such a little girl."

"Who is she Ryder?" She asked.

"Her name is Athena. But she is a rouge. Why did Eros do this to me?"

"Eros is the god of love. He knows what you need." She said. There are a few times when Selene is a mother. "You are strong. I want to see her"

"Great, that's going to be fun. 'Hello Athena I want you to meet the goddess of wolves.' How do you think that's going to go Selene?"

"I think it's a start."

"I need to go kill something."

"That's a bad habit."

"What is?"

"Killing rogues when you're mad. Those are my creatures, my children."

"Well they should not have stepped foot on my territory." At that Selene left. She didn't like my hobbies. But right now I need to get my mind off of Athena. I wonder what she's doing? My Betta Burst into my office. The look on his face told me something was wrong.

"The new girl-" he didn't get to finish because I was out the door. Something was wrong with Athena.

When I was in the front yard I saw her. Her wolf was the color of blood. Black stripes were on her rib cage. She looked deadly. Yet beautiful. She looked at me. There was so much pain in her eyes. She let out an awful howl. It was so sad. She was hurting. Something was hurting her but I couldn't see anything. Whatever was hurting her was on the inside. She burst into flames.
