chapter 13 : the engagment

Just as ishitha was leaving ajay's grandma stopped her to give their family's hairloom as was going to be their bahu. Ishitha was hesitant but ajay and family members convinced her to take it. Unexpectedly ajay's mom announces that the engagement is tomorrow. Ishitha and ajay are shocked as they were not prepared.

Ishitha : engagement tomorrow we just started being official and engagement so fast?

Ajay's mom : its not that ajay's grandma health is getting worse and we are worried for her as she wabts to see ajay married as fast as possible.

Ishitha : but the preperations?

Ajay's mom : you are a part of us now we will take care during the dinner we already took the decision and works have already started. Tomorrow you just come and sit as my son's girl. Dress formally as media will be here as well.

Ajay: mom the thing is ishitha doesnt want things to be public she wants it done in a intimate famil gathering later after marraige we can have a public reception.

Everyone agrees for a small family gathering. Ajay drops ishitha at her residence. Ishitha looks at the mirror in her room and her ring in the box she had kept it which was put on by aditya in india. Which shows that ishitha is already engaged . Ishitha goes to sleep with lots of fustration and the need to waking up early as its her engagement with ajay.

The next day which is also the engagement. The engagement dress was sent to ishitha's house by ajay as he wanted her to match with him. Ishitha stares at the dress and the engagement ring and asks herself if what she is doing is right. She puts the engagement ring away and gets ready to become ajay's bride. In ishitha's mind its all one thing to get her damn london citizenship for that she needs to marry him. That's it and afterwards she will divorce him and goes back to aditya.

At the other side ajay is still busy dealing with his clients throught zoom and video calls. As preparations for the engagement is on going he is still tied up with his office work. His grandma comes there.

Grandma : ajay beta its your engagement today am so happy but i need you to be more invloved in this your eyes should all be on ishitha your future wife and seeings this i will be the happiest... coughss

Ajay : dadi are you okay drink some water i promise i will be more invloved in this engagement just let me finish one last meeting and am all ishitha's.

She walks away and ajay continues with his meeting.

Back to ishitha she is ready and gets into ajay's car sent by him. The dress she was wearing it was quite uncomfortable. As it was her first time wearing a dress.

As soon as she gets down ajay's family members welcome her inside. Ajay comes down the stares while talking on the phone, as soon as he sees her he gets mesmerized and he felt something that he never felt before. His grandma sees that and teases him.

' enough of staring go and stand beside her she is all yours...'

Ajay and ishitha gives some poses as a couple before the engagement rituals began. Ajay brings her to a side and tells her

A: listen we are going to be engaged which means we are like half married you need to learn how to live up to my standards and being my wife i mean after marraige no one should have doubt on us and the marraige to us its a deal but to the world we are in a relationship so we do what is to make them believe okay.

Ishitha gets pissed and starts walking away and accidentally ajay opens her back zip. Ishitha puts her back towards the wall as she was embaraced.

A : are you okay am sorry it was by accident can i help you?

I : you are suchaa idiot now what do i do no ways am letting you touch me

A : why are you talking like am desperate to touch you am the reason for that so i wanted to fix it wait i will call someone.

There is no one there and the time for engagement was getting near.

I : fine you do it but close your eyes and do it .

A (mind voice): oh my what am i doing first she cpatured me with her beauty now what she is doing to me why am i feeling butterfiles in my stomach?

I (mind voice): ohh godd what am i going to do can this get over already....

Ajay does it and both of them's heart starts beating fast and his fingers slips which made him touch ishitha's back. Ishitha's eyes widen and she stated feeling something

I(mind voice) : did he just touched my back it was suchaa nice feeling .... ehh wait what am i thinking stop thinking like that this is a deal and do not imagine anything beyond this...

As soon as it was done ishitha left the place. Ajay is still wondering what he felt and was confused.

The engagement ceremony began and they exchanged their rings. For ishitha her deal was for citizenship whereas for ajay its for his grandma who doesnt know how long she is going to live and he has to make his grandmother see his wedding before anything happens.

Its a deal for now but will it stay as one in the future? Further more stay tuned i will be writing more soon. Sorry for delaying and thank you for waiting.
