"Yawn~ Now this is what I call a good night of sleep. What time is it?... Shoot! Again!? Mom is so going to kill me."

Why does this keep on happening? I swear I need a new alarm clock. I get up fast, take a quick shower and put on a t-shirt and some jeans. When I get downstairs, my mom is looking at me with an angry face. You know the one. That face that only moms do.

"Morning mom... How is the most beautiful lady in the world feeling this wonderful morning?"

"Nice try, child. Aren't you a little late, young lady? Your friends are going to be here in 5 minutes and you didn't even have breakfast."

"I swear it wasn't my fault. The clock most be broken or something, it rarely wakes me up."

"Have you ever thought that you are the problem? I can hear your alarm all the way to my room just fine."

*ding dong

"Oops... I better leave."

"What about breakfast, missy?"

I take an apple and some cookies from the table. "See? No problem."

She rolls her eyes. I take my backpack and skateboard and head to the door. "Bye mom!"

"Bye! Be careful, dear!"

As soon as I close the door behind me, I hear Anna.

"I know that, since I'm your cousin and all, I should think and say only the best about you but let me guess.. With that sleepy face of yours and the food still in your hands, I'd say that you slept in." She knows me well. Maybe too well. Why would I need a diary when I have an older cousin like her?

"I might have. But do not worry, ma'am. It won't happen again."

"You said that last time."

"She says that all the time!"

The twins laugh. Winter and Summer Sparks, the "trouble duo". They are total opposites and not just because of the names. Summer is more of an introvert but only with people that she's not close to. On the contrary, Winter is loud and extroverted. They tend to get in trouble but they're actually pretty smart. But the only trouble they are actually responsible for (or at least the only they got caught) is when they switch places. It's so much fun when the teachers get confused.

"Okay.. But have you ever thought that I might not be a morning person? This is a sacrifice I'm making here!"

"And have you ever thought about enrolling in the theater club? You're quite the drama queen, babe."

"Ha, ha, and you should go to the circus, Winter. You're so funny. I'm sure the clowns need your teaching, sensei."

Guess who's back~~
I haven't written in so long but it was so much fun to pick this up again!
I'll see you in the next chapter.
