The End: The Start of War (original story)

Chapter 3:

I couldn't fall asleep as per usual. But this time it was different. I was thinking about Hayden and Samson. Their relationship broke one of my rules and now they are going to have a baby. Hayden is my best friend and has been since before freshman year of high school. I remember that night that we went to homecoming back in the fall the year before. I remember it like it was yesterday. The dance was so lame and drama-filled everybody who went ended up in tears by the end of the night like it was some kinda curse or something. We got enough drama that night to last us our lifetime but for some reason, the world doesn't work that way. Hayden and I showed up just to say we went but we only stayed at the dance for ten minutes. And the only fun part about that night was the weird noodle bar that we went to and then hanging out at her house afterward. A lot happened in ten months. And now she's waiting to have her first kid in nine more months. Normally if she was anybody else she would be kicked out. But I have this old storm shelter that I could have Jacob turn into a house for them With a working bathroom kitchen and everything. Yeah, I think that's what I'm going to do.
