Chapter 18: champagne and sunshine

By the time the evening rolls around, Koo and I are chilling having a picnic date at the park forgetting any problems as we chill, laid on the grass together feeding eachother chocolate covered strawberries.

"Damn what at amazing view" Koo says smirking as the late afternoon sun shimmers and the wind blows the leaves on the trees causing the most beautiful sound making it feel like its only the two of us at the park.

"I know right?" I stare at the sky and koo just smirks to himself and grabs another strawberry and dips into chocolate in order to feed me it.

"I was talking about the view of you" He mumbles and feeds me the strawberry, purposely getting chocolate on my lips in the process.

"Sir- the fuck?" He smirks at my reaction over the chocolate and kisses me leaving me bright red.

"What?" He innocently smiles before my phone buzzes but i ignore it and put my phone on silent mode cause im on a date so im going to make the most of this date.

"You not gonna answer?" Koo asks looking at me curiously.

"Nah it can wait im on a date with my boyfriend, whoever it is can wait" I reply smiling at him and peck him and he smiles back at me before playfully starting a tickle fight. By the time that ends Koos on top of me playfully smirking so I obviously pull him in for the kiss which he immediately deepens, we then both roll over and i end up top and continue kissing him for a while until someone walks past and glares in disgust and casually yells "get a room you two" causing us to rapidly pull a part and stop kissing.

"Anyway, lets change the subject, what are your hopes for the future since youve had a promotion?" Koo asks smiling cutely.

"Well now i have a promotion, I get to focus on my future so like, settle down with someone and have some children or something? I just hope to not give my children any trauma like the stuff I grew up with" I mumble and Koo looks at me pouting.

"I dont know what you went through nor will i make you tell me until youre ready, but, i do know, that you'll be an amazing mother when the time comes..." Koo smiles and kisses me softly, shortly after we're just cuddling watching clouds go by and It dawns on me that I can see it all happen with him.

"You know... you seem like a good person to picture my future with ya know?" I shyly smile after being slightly direct and all.

"You saying you see me as your future hubby and baby daddy? Cause that sounds amazing" He smiles cutely loving the idea and pecks me once again before checking the time. "well baby, you think i should walk you home? Its getting kinda late" Koo asks as the date comes to an end and i nod as we pack up our picnic and then we head home holding hands in silence just enjoying each others company, when I get home I notice Mia isnt around but just shrug it off and continue to chill with Kook on the sofa, assuming shes at Jimins place.

"You staying over tonight?" I ask pouting hoping he is.

"I wish I could but I took an opening shift at the gym tomorrow cause someones off sick and i dont wanna wake you up since ive gotta be there by 6 am...im sorry baby" He says pouting and I pout even more.

"Well thats ok then... dont be sorry" I peck him and pout.

"Okie..." He looks at me pouting.

"Baby I should go home, get an early nights sleep and all" He says and I cuddle him before he leaves, then after he has left, I pull out my phone to text Mia and see if she's staying at Jimins only to notices a bunch of messages I missed from her.

-Jimin says theres "no sign of life in his apartment", aka no one has been there since he was last there aka Joon and Tae went ✨poof✨. This is scary.
-Can you answer please this is hella freaking me out cause everyone we know is going missing. What if we're next? Im scared.
-Bro. Answer.
-I- right youre on a date with Jk. Imma just go on a walk to clear my head. Have fun💜💜💜.

"Well shit..." I pout kinda surprised and dont know what to do so I casually wait up for her to get home, but then when the time hits 11, I start getting worried cause she isnt replying to her texts, so I obviously text Jimin.

-Aye you with Mia? Shes not home and not answering her texts.

-Uhh no, havent seen her all day, I texted her earlier though. He replies and I pout even more worried.

-Im worried Jimin. With all our friends missing im frightened to death. I reply pouting and he replies with a "stay put I think we need to talk" then shortly after he turns up at the door.
