Since Lauren didn't have class today she decided to stay in and have a relaxing day to herself without any interruptions. She was free to do whatever she wanted to do today.

Unfortunately her relaxation came to an end quicker that she liked because Demi came home early. Huffing she sat up and glared at the girl. "Why aren't you in class?" She asked rudely. Demi rolled her eyes as she drops her back. "The teacher had something to do so class ended early." She said.

"Then go hang with your friends. I want the room to myself." Lauren demanded.

Demi looked at her like she was crazy and scuffs. "Uh no. This is my room too and I can be here if I want. Don't like it leave Jauregui." She says. Standing up from her bed Lauren was fuming as she glared daggers at the girl. "No! Today was supposed to be my day to have the room to myself but yet again here you go ruining it!" She screams. "What's your problem Lovato?"

Demi's glared quickly left as she frowns. "I don't have a problem. You're the one who has a problem with me for no reason and I don't get it." She said. Lauren scuffs "oh please! You never liked me! You hated on me the minute I moved in here. So if anyone has the problem it's you!" She sneers. "You've never liked me!"

Demi's glared hardens as she stared Lauren down. "That is not true! When you first got here I tried being your friend but you immediately shut me down!" She screams. "If anyone didn't like someone it was you." Lauren frowns as she grabs her things. "I don't need this. I'm out of here."

Watching the girl leave Demi groans as she falls back on her bed. She didn't understand why they couldn't just get along. They're both dating Dinah and Normani yet they don't like each other and they don't understand why. Why don't they like each other? She wished she knew.

Lauren didn't know why she was crying but she was. She didn't know what hurt her feelings bad enough to make her cry because she's usually not emotional like this. She usually has everything together but right now she just feels like everything is falling apart around her. She's trying to make things work but she's no sure if she can. Maybe she should just let go.

Sitting at the lunch table Dinah and Normani could feel the tension between Lauren and Demi. However it wasn't the normal tension they've had this was so much different and they didn't know why.

"Girls is everything ok?" Normani asked.

Lauren nodded "yes everything is fine." She said quickly. Demi rolled her eyes as she pushed her food away. "Yeah everything is so good." She muttered. The tone of her voice immediately caught Lauren's attention and it made the young girl frown. "Wait what's wrong?" She asked softly.

Demi shook her head as she tugged on the sleeves of her sweater. "Nothing. I'm fine. Just tired." She mumbles. Lauren, Dinah and Normani looked at her with worried eyes because something was obviously wrong. "Demi don't give us that. What's wrong?" Dinah asked strongly.

Knowing that they wouldn't let up Demi groans as she looked at them. "I'm just having a bad day. I didn't get much sleep and I'm mad ok." She says. Normani looked at her as she gently took her hand. "You didn't do anything, did you?" She asked softly. Demi's heart flutters at how caring she was. "No I'm fine. I didn't do anything." She said. "I promise."

Looking at the girl Lauren couldn't help but feel like something was off but she didn't want to say anything out loud right now. She's just have to wait until they were alone. She knows that she shouldn't care but something was obviously off with Demi and she really wanted to know what.

After lunch Dinah and Normani said goodbye to their girlfriends and headed off to class. "Did their tension feel off to you today?" Dinah asked. Normani nodded "yeah it felt like they were both holding something back." She says. "We need to get them to talk this out. Like they need to actually talk." Dinah says. Normani smirks "I might have an idea."

Sitting in their room Demi and Lauren made sure to stay on opposite ends of the room. After their screaming match yesterday they were to drained to even argue right now. They wanted to get to the bottom of their issues but they knew that right now nothing would be solved.

Feeling eyes on her Lauren looked up and locked eyes with Demi for a second before the girl turned away. She knew that the girl wanted to say something. "What's up Lovato?" She asked. Demi shrugs "nothing. It's nothing. Everything is fine." She says.

Lauren rolls her eyes because she knew that the girl was lying. "You're lying." She said. "What's wrong?" Demi scuffs "I am not lying." She said. "And how would you even know if I was." Lauren laughed amusingly as she puts her book down. "Your body is slouched, you can't keep eye contact with me and your playing with your fingers. You only do that when you're lying." She answered proudly.

"For someone who doesn't like me you sure do know when I'm lying." Demi said smugly.

Lauren scuffed "yeah only because I don't want you lying to our girls. That's the only reason I even pay attention to you." She snapped. Demi couldn't help but laugh. "Now you're the one lying." She says. "And how would you know?" Lauren challenged. Demi chuckles "well for starters your body is tensed, you're biting your lip and your nose twitched. Only things that happen when you lie." She replied proudly.

Lauren huffed as she crossed her arms over her chest but before she could speak Dinah and Normani came running in. "We want you guys to go to a party with us!"
