||HENRY'S POV|| Me and Ray/Captain Man were entering the bakery Jeff was trying to rob. Once we entered, however, instead of the usual Jeff trying to steal behind the counter stuff like cookies or pie, he was holding an extremely pretty girl by the hair, a butcher's knife hovering over neck. She didn't look too fazed. In fact, she looked annoyed. She was wearing an emerald green sweatshirt crop top with a fishnet undershirt. She wore black ripped jean shorts which were frayed at the leg hole hems and black heel boots with chains hooked on them. "Drop the girl," Ray ordered.
"No! She stole my slice of pie," Jeff snarled.
"Yeah! After you stole it from me!" she rolled her eyes. She kicked him directly on the kneecap making it bend the opposite direction it was supposed to, making Jeff fall to the ground groaning. She didn't stop there though. She grabbed the wrist that supported the hand which held the knife. She pressed a pressure point in his wrist making him release the knife. She picked up the knife and slid it into her little side pouch. "Next time, don't steal my pie and knife," she growled.
"For safety reasons, why do you carry around a knife?" Ray asked skeptically.
"Normally I don't. Today was just special, I suppose. It's my first time around the city and I'm not comfortable yet. So I carry this around for self defense," she explained.
"How did Jeff get it then?" Ray questioned.
"It must've slipped out of the pouch," she shrugged. "Well, I gotta go meet with my family. See ya!" *** Charlotte, Ray, and I were up in Junk'N'Stuff talking about the mysterious girl we saw at the bakery this morning. I saw Jasper walking towards the store with the same girl we were talking about. "Hey, hey! Guys! Look! Jasper's talking to that girl in the bakery," I pointed out.
"Oh yeah," Ray murmured. As they walked in, her eyes were glued to her phone. She was laughing her head off at something as Jasper was turning red.
"Stop watching that!" he whined.
"But it's so funny! Jasper, you are the only person I know who can't sing the cups song," she laughed. Now I know why she was laughing.
"Oh yeah? You do it then! Go on!" he gestured to a random red cup on the counter.
"I don't need to prove anything. I used to sing in the Glee Club at my old school. Isn't that prove enough?" she sighed.
"That, my dear cousin, is not," he responded. Cousin?
"I'm sorry, but did you just say cousin?" I asked. I saw the girl studying my features, along with Ray's ignoring Charlotte completely. "Uh...hey...cousin? You and Jasper are cousins?"
"Uh yeah! Sorry, you both just look very familiar," she told us making Ray and I's eyes widen.
"Familiar? What? We just met here, right now!" me and Ray overlapped our words.
"Ok! Ok!" she raised her hands in defense. "Might just be me." Me and Ray sighed in relief to which she didn't hear. "But yeah. Me and this knucklehead are cousins."
"I'm the knucklehead? Who got punched in the face by grandma last Christmas?" Jasper asked.
"You did," she responded rolling her eyes.
"No! Wait," Jasper stroked his chin as if trying to remember if he got face punched.
"Ok! We don't have time to figure out if your grandma face punched you! Why didn't you tell us you had a cousin?" Charlotte asked.
"Well, I tried, multiple times, to tell you that my cousin was moving to Swellview," Jasper defended.
"Yeah right! Name one time," Ray scoffed.
"Two days ago, we were at Nacho Ball and I said 'I have some important news to tell you' and the only thing you had to say to that was 'Ray do you remember when Jasper face planted into the mud?'" Jasper tried.
"No," Charlotte tried remembering.
"No doesn't ring a bell," Ray scratched his chin.
"Although it was pretty funny when you face planted into the mud," I laughed.
"Well, if you don't mind, I have to use the restroom. I'll be right back," Jasper's cousin spoke, walking to the back.
"What's her name?" I asked Jasper.
"Why didn't you ask her?" Jasper quizzed.
"I was about to but she had to go to the bathroom in.....the back. In the back. Ray, Jasper's cousin went into the back!" I panicked.
"Why'd you let that happen?!" he panicked back.
"She walked past you so technically its you-"
"I don't care who's fault it is! Jasper's cousin is probably in the Man Cave right now!" Charlotte cut me off, quickly getting to the back. *** ||Y/N'S POV|| I walked into the back to find an elevator door. I just thought it was for decoration, so I let the door open. I walked into the elevator, now curious to where it might lead if this wasn't the bathroom. I pressed the down button letting the elevator plummet down. Literally plummet. But I didn't scream, mainly because this was the same feeling I felt when I would enter my spy facility. Let me fill you in. I work with a spy company called WWSA or World Wide Spy Association. I work for Gemma, the president of the association. We have a similar way of traveling to our base, except to enter the elevator you need a code, so any bystanders wouldn't be able to open it. Once the elevator landed onto the solid floor, I exited it. I looked around, recognizing the symbol as Captain Man's and Kid Danger's. So that's why that man and that kid looked familiar. They are Captain Man and Kid Danger.
