Jasper's Cousin Pt. 2 ~ H.H.

||Y/N'S POV||
I walked around, admiring the build of the hideout. As I was examining the monitors and dashboards, the elevator crashed onto the solid floor. The doors opened revealing all of the people up in the store, including Jasper, surprisingly. I saw the adult grab a large gun looking thing. He pointed it at me, about to shoot, before I kicked it out of his hand, catching it before turning to point it at him. His eyes widened, his hands above his hand in surrender. I could see the other kid sneaking up behind me through the reflection on the device. I turned around pointing the weapon at the kid, who was now backing away. I heard the man trying to quietly make his way behind me like the kid had. I lowered the gun, setting it down on the couch. The man took the chance to jump me. He was now trying to pin me to the ground, but I used my emergency shocker in my bracelet to at least let me escape for a little bit. "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?! AREN'T YOU SUPPOSED TO PROTECT SWELLVIEW CITIZENS?!" I burst, fury radiating off me.

"Why— why would that be our job exactly?" the man tried playing it off.

"Oh I don't know. Maybe the fact the you're Captain Man and you're Kid Danger," I replied, gesturing to the man first then the kid.

"What makes you say that?" the kid scratched the back of his neck.

"Maybe the fact that you didn't scream on your way down here. Maybe the fact that your symbol is all over this damn hideout. And maybe the fact you knew exactly where this place was," I suggested. "Just a thought."

"Fine. Yes, we are Captain Man and Kid Danger," the man admitted.

"Dude! You blew up at me for admitting to this when Charlotte found out!" the kid looked shocked.

"Well, I have a hunch as to why she didn't scream on her way down here either," the man smirked. "Are you, by any chance, Y/N L/N?"

"Yes," I replied. "Ray Manchester?" I asked the man. He nodded. The main reason I moved to Swellview was to create an alliance with Captain Man and Kid Danger. I would've tried during our first meeting but number 1, we were in public and number 2, a villain was groaning a couple feet away. "Henry Hart?" I asked looking at the kid who nodded slowly. "Charlotte Page and Schwoz Schwartz work here as well I presume?"

"Yes. I don't know where Schwoz is but this is Charlotte," Ray answered gesturing to a dark skinned girl with curly hair. I nodded in acknowledgement.

"Ok, what the butt is happening right now?!" Henry exclaimed.

"Yeah! How do you know my cousin?" Jasper added.

"She works with WWSA. Gemma sent her to work with us until she's assigned a different mission," Ray explained.

"WWSA?" Charlotte asked. "Isn't that the World Wide Spy Association?"

"Yep," I confirmed.

"WHAT?!" Jasper and Henry screamed making me flinch slightly.

"You were a spy this whole time and you didn't tell me?" Jasper asked in disbelief.

"You were best friends with Kid Danger this whole time and you didn't tell me?" I mocked making him narrow his eyes on me.

"You're only saying that because you have a crush on him," Jasper smirked, making me lightly blush. I was able to keep a poker face though.

"Is that so?" Henry asked, smirking, coming up behind Jasper. I still had on my poker face so I didn't give anything away, but on the inside I was shrieking with embarrassment.

"Perhaps," I replied nonchalantly.

"Well, in that case, it'll make it easier to ask this," Henry smiled, genuinely.

"Ask what?" I asked dumbly.

"Will you go out with me?" he asked sheepishly making me giggle slightly.

"Sure," I answered smiling broadly.

"I meant that to tease her! Not for you to ask her out!" Jasper whined.

"Ha!" I laughed before exiting the Man Cave. Well now I have a date to get ready for. And it happens to be with Kid Danger.
