Soulmate AU
Z/n = zodiac sign
This all takes place in 2019 when Jace is filming Bixler High Private Eye. I just recently watched it and have an OC fanfiction on my profile page. The movie is amazing!

||YOUR POV||
Tonight is the night before my 16th birthday. I'm extremely excited and nervous about this. It's easy to know why I'm excited. It's my birthday for Christ's sake! But I'm nervous as well because it's the day I get my soulmate tattoo.

Let me explain. Everyone gets a special tattoo when they turn 16. The tattoo disappears when you meet them. It's a tattoo of their soulmate's zodiac sign and their name somewhere surrounding it.

For instance, my older sister, Jordan, got hers. It's a Leo with the name Jacob James Jameson, her boyfriend. The Jameson's have been one with the J names for a while. My sister fit right in as well with the Jordan Jocelyn thing going.

Anyway, it says it's impossible to not receive a tattoo. But what if I'm the first? That's always the thought that goes on in someone's head the night before their sweet sixteen.

Right now I was watching Henry Danger with Jordan, trying to calm my nerves. Jace Norman's my celebrity crush. I find it funny that the sign on his arm is the same zodiac sign as my own, z/s. The name still hasn't shown up on his arm yet, so that means his soulmate hasn't come of age yet.

"You know what would be funny?" Jordan asked, breaking the comfortable silence. I hummed in response. "If you and Jace are soulmates. I mean, it's the same sign as you, the name hasn't appeared yet. The field is looking great for you."

"He's 3 years older than me. And a celebrity. I doubt I'm his soulmate. I don't even know if I'll get a soulmate," I told her sadly.

"Hey! You will. Everyone does," Jordan assured.

"But what if I'm the first who doesn't?" I asked.

"You, Y/N M/N L/N, will have a soulmate. End of conversation. Now just enjoy Jace Norman's talent," she told me. I laughed slightly, continuing our binging habit.

I woke up around 9:00am, enjoying the piece and quiet. It took a second to realize that today is my sweet 16 and my tattoo should be present.

I excitedly rolled up my sweater sleeve to see something I'd never expect. I screamed of shock and excitement, waking up my sister.

"Oh my god Y/N! I know it's your birthday but you don't have to scream," she sighed once she noticed I was still breathing. I didn't respond, probably making her concerned. "Are you ok?"

"I— I— look," I squealed, shoving my forearm into her view.

"See! I told you you'd get a tattoo. Now let me sleep," she groaned.

"No no no no! Read it," I squealed again.

"Oh my god. OH MY GOD! How— what— I knew it!" Jordan screamed in victory.

There, splayed on my forearm, was a big Aries sign with the name Jace Lee Norman written around it.

"Girls. What's the matter?" mom asked as she rushed into the room, dad following behind her.

"Y/N's soulmate is Jace Norman!" Jordan squealed.

"Who?" dad asked as mom and Jordan fangirled.

"You know my celebrity crush?" I asked.

"Yeah. What about him?"

"He's Jace Norman. My soulmate!" I squealed again.

"Ohhh. Well congrats kiddo," dad congratulated.

"Get ready! I'm taking you to the studio. I am not taking no for an answer," Jordan smiled before rushing out of my room. My parents followed suit, except they were probably going back to sleep.

I put on a white tank top with black ripped jeans. I slipped on my black and white adidas to finish the 'look'. I left my hair down naturally, brushing my teeth and washing my face. It was around 9:45 when me and Jordan were on our way to the studio.

As we were driving, I browsed on Instagram, stopping at a picture of Jace and Baby Ariel. Jace's arm was extremely visible, probably unintended, and there laid my name and sign. Wow. This is really happening.

It took about 30 minutes to get to the studio. We walked up into the lobby, me nervously and Jordan pridefully.

"Hi! I'm Jordan and this Y/N. Jace's soulmate," Jordan introduced.

"Mhm," the lobby lady sarcastically hummed. "Have you ever considered how many other girls have come here saying they were Jace's soulmate. Ever since he posted that picture with Ariel, girls have been lining up, saying their Jace's soulmate. Get lost!"

"Ma'am, I'm telling you. You can't take the tattoo off, look," Jordan insisted rubbing my forearm forcefully with her sleeve.

"Your sleeve is dry. It won't erase anything," the lobby lady spoke monotonously.

Jordan used the Clorox wipe she found on the desk. She started wiping my arm again, but the tattoo didn't disappear. However the lobby lady still looked unimpressed.

"Do you know how many girls have gotten tattoos of that exact tattoo? I'm not stupid," the lobby lady told us.

"I'd like to point out I'm terrified of needles," I pointed out.

"This act is so convincing. You two should be actresses," the lobby lady sarcastically remarked.

"This isn't a joke! I'm telling you! Her tattoo is the real deal!" Jordan exclaimed.

"I'm sure," the lobby lady sarcastically agreed.

"Come on Jordan. I didn't think anyone would believe this. I mean, he's a celebrity for Christ's sake! Good looking too. I'm not surprised people have been coming in to portray me. We'll be leaving now," I politely told the lobby lady.

"No! Your his soulmate! You need to meet!" Jordan insisted.

"You're acting like your his soulmate," I laughed. "And besides, if I'm really his soulmate we'll meet some other time."

"But— no! I drove a full 30 minutes and I will not leave until you get to meet your soulmate!" she protested.

"Just call security," I muttered to the lobby lady.

"Security!" the lobby lady screamed. 2 police officers came out from the back. "Please take this girl," the lobby lady pointing at Jordan, "out of my lobby!"

"Yes ma'am," one police officer saluted.

"And this young lady?" the officer gestured to me.

"She's willing to cooperate," the lobby lady shrugged, letting me freely exit the building, following my protesting sister.
