Interesting...

I stand beside her little body and watch her as she pays attention to every detail of my throne in front of us with the great excitement is pretty interesting.

I eventually had to block her train of thoughts because her little brain just don't sits quiet for a second. Her mind is opposite of her small bean demeanour .

She looks like a scared sheep from outside but she's a very different person from inside. It's so.... humanly. Yup I have to remind me again that this small meat bag here is just a human.

And I love to torture them not make the actual love to them.

Her big doe eyes blinks few times as she analyses everything pattern of my throne with so much focus that I can't help but find her little cute.

I roll my eyes at my puppy thought. It's simply pathetic.

I want to scare her more because I need to be sure that I can get free from this deliberate attempt of getting myself laid.

Eventually of course I know that I will.

To having a mate means to having a weakness. And I am not going to have any kind of weaknesses.

I didn't even know that it was possible for me to have a mate and that to be a human!

Tsk.

" It's... pretty." I hear her faint voice coated with amazement.

My eyebrows quirk up in surprise because I assumed that when she'd see my throne which has tremendous amount of souls trapped in it , along with the deathly spikes on it, which sometimes is pretty scary for people here , she'd be more scared of me.

But she isn't.

Alas!

Her little paws started to crawl up to the stairs to get much clearer view of my dangerous place from where I rule while sitting on it like a God.

It's actually little enigmatic to me that how come she switches from being so scared of me to being so excited.

" What's so pretty about a big hall with bloody chair?" I switched my position just in front of her which made her jump back few steps.

I take my seat and put my head on my forearm, adjusting my arm on the throne's handle . I watch her intently as she realeses her shaky breath and I can't help but smirk as her big eyes stare at me again like she's telling me that she's not afraid of me.

But she is not aware that I'm God of death for a reason. I have control over everything related to dark , fear, torture, hell and obviously the death.

But I can't help but wonder that she's still not that afraid of me as I thought she'd be. I furrow my eyes in thought and suddenly my mind gets the answer.

Of course! The mate bond!
How can I forget that batshit logic of the mating process. That goddess is really a freaking pervert!

All this time when she found me attractive and how her little heart was pounding because of my closeness to her, was just because of this shitty matebond!

Obviously it doesn't affect me that much actually veryyyy little because I'm not a weak and small human like her.

She's already affected because of that!

I restrain myself from growling and killing those old hags and that Lilith when I hear a faint voice.

" It's pretty because... I've never seen anything like this before in my life and it's little scary too." She admits while looking down and fidgeting.

Gotcha! So you are scared little sheep. Well nothing new to me.

" You are definitely going to revisit this place when you will die. No problems." I say in confidence and snap my fingers .

I hear her tiny heart beating faster than usual and give her my grin in return as her wide big eyes look at me in astonishment. I love scaring her .

Within a second one of my demon presents herself and bows down, waiting for my order.

" My lord."

My little human mate jumps and tries to scoot closer to where I'm sitting . Definitely she's more scared now because this demon is quite large in her original form.

Not more than my original form though. I'm the biggest here.

I smile at human who is looking at me with her hesitant expression, probably waiting for her departure from this place.

Girl is so innocent.

I hum and turn my head towards my demon," take this human to...ah! Lilith's room and tell that Lilith that from now on she's demoted from her place. " I proudly order her and she bows again while saying yes my lord.

My inner demons snort because I know that Lilith will be damn pissed about it.

Tit for tat!

" I.. I am not going back? " Human whispers hesitantly.

" No . And don't worry you will not die here...yet." I smirk right away when her big eyes widens and her body shivers .
