I get back to the gryffindor common room with my head down, I say the password and walk into Fred talking with lee "so? How'd go?" Lee asked, I nodded "she said we were like water and oil, what the hell does that even mean" I sat next to them
"It means you do better next time" we heard Harry behind us, "what the hell potter" I said, "her roommate Anna, lovely girl none of your guys type told me about your little hogsmeade hang out and vela regrets it. Fun fact about her she's never done this before, try again you have my blessing now I must leave to bother my best friends" he walked away towards his dorm room
"So I try again?" I looked at my brother and best friend "you try again" the agreed together.
The next day we walked into the great hall for breakfast and I spotted vela sitting with her friends so I walked to her "hello vela, vela's friends" I said to her
"Um hello George, would you like to talk later?" Vela asked, I nodded and walked away to the gryffindor table to sit down "what happened to you?" My youngest brother asked me
"Just got a second chance from vela" I smiled eating a carrot
Later that day I caught up with the Ravenclaw "Vela, can we talk now?" I asked her, she nodded we stood under the stairs
"George, I'd like to apologize for yesterday. I've never been asked out before and I'm sorry" she apologized
"It's okay, redo this Saturday? Black lake 4pm?" I asked her, "yes of course I'll see you then and Friday in the library?" She said
"Yeah, I'll see you then" I kissed her cheek then walked away smiling like an idiot
