Weeks passed by vela and George really got to know eachother "wait so your brother actually thought you had to fight a troll to figure out what house you get into" Vela laughed loudly under a tree near the black lake. That became "their spot" while at hogwarts
"Stupid I know, anyways are you excited for Christmas break?" George asked her, she nodded "yeah, I've been missing my mum and her cooking I mean hogwarts food is phenomenal but my mum and dads cooking would beat it in a competition" she told him
"Maybe your family could come to the burrow for New Years? I mean if you'd want to" he rambled
"I'd have to check with my parents but if they say no I'll owl you to kidnap me, I wish you could come to Christmas but we are having Harry and his family over like always but this year harry is bringing his boyfriend so it's all crazy" Vela told George who always listen to what she said
"I'll be looking forward to your owl then, there is a dog coming behind you" George told her, vela turned around to see a black dog she smiled when she knew who it was
The dog licked her face "Georgie this is padfoot" padfoot looked at george growling
"Wait padfoot? Like the marauder padfoot? Hell yeah never thought you'd be a do-" he got interrupted by padfoot changing into Sirius black
"Holy shit" George was stunned by what he just saw "George, Sirius is my uncle kinda" Vela told the stunned boy across from her
"It's pleasure to meet you George but I must take vela here, urgent meeting with her parents it was nice meeting you" Sirius took vela away and brought her into the castle
"What's wrong, did dad do something? Is mum okay?" She was shushed by Sirius with his finger
"Everyone is okay, your mum has something to tell you and she couldn't wait another two weeks, your dad is at his job so I was the gracious one to take her" he told his niece
"What about Felix and gabbie?" She asked worried about her younger siblings
"They are here as well, could never forget about the little ones never" they reached the Ravenclaw door
"Born in an instant, I tell all stories. I can be lost, but I never die. What am I?" the charmed door said
"Memories" Vela answered, Sirius was impressed when the door opened to reveal the common room "good work ela" Sirius said
They walked into the common room to see her mum and two siblings conversing with Luna and Ginny "mum" Maria's first child yelled running in to give her a hug
"Hello Felix and gabbie, what brings you to hogwarts?" By this time Luna and Ginny had left for lunch
"Well, you are going to be a big sister again in July" her mum told her
"WHAT" she yelled happily
