It's been a week since Lelouch returned home, he got better but it's still a slow process. Depression isn't something that we can make disappear in an instance. Kallen knew that for a fact as her mother still has depression and uses refrain to ease the pain. Her mother joined the Black Knights a month after Lelouch vanished and when her mother was informed by Kallen that Lelouch returned home but needed someone to console with. Someone who understood his pain the most she wanted to help Lelouch. It was slow at first because he had to relive those memories. Everything after Reach wasn't bad because he had John, Linda, Kelly, Fred, Johnson and Halsey to console with in secret. People think Spartans are just emotionless machines with human skin but they're human and have emotion but they don't show it. They never asked to fight this foe many were taken from their homes, others volunteered out of revenge not for a cause, they lost their childhood to become soldiers with one goal 'To be the protectors of humanity'. Lelouch has never been the same and for me it hurts seeing our leader so hurt, broken and lifeless. Shirley and Milley knew how lonely Lelouch was losing your mother, being banished from your home and forced to live in Japan. Having to become an adult to help his sister. Lelouch built proper statues for his team, we found music, drawing, reading and watching movies and shows to help Lelouch calm down and seem to help when dealing with his depression. It's a small change but we're all glad he's back.

Decepticons activity has been low since Megaton's death, Raf, Jack and Miko haven't been to the base since Lelouch came back mainly on Primes orders. June is the only one who knows about Lelouch and has been giving him antidepressants. She says Lelouch doesn't have a severe case of depression but has bottled up 3 years of sadness and now that he's back he has to let it out. Today we've decided to have the kids return back to the Ark and tell them about Lelouch, I'm headed to confront him about this.

Kallen: Lelouch it's Kallen can I come in?

Lelouch: Sure be there in a minute.

Lelouch got up from his desk and walked to the door and opened and Kallen stepped in before closing the door again.

Lelouch: So what do you want?

Kallen: 1. How are you feeling? And 2. During your time with the UNSC we met three kids who got caught up in the Autobots and Decepticons war so we took them and they became regulars here but when you returned he had them stay at home so we want them to return now. But because of your condition right now we want to know if you'll be good?

Lelouch: Kallen you already know I'm not your superior Suzaku is your superior. He led you guys for 3 years while I was gone he's done probably more than I have as Zero.

Kallen: It's been a year for us and Suzaku maybe Zero but to the Black Knights you're our leader and will always be our leader.

Lelouch: Fine but I'm also busy trying to contact the UNSC if I get them here we have a better chance at fighting off any threat that. I'll allow it since I love you and the others.

Time skip

Jack: I still don't know why Prime had us not go to base for a bit.

Miko: Yeah Boss bot wouldn't do that

Raf: Normally I have a answer but I don't

The three head to the Ground Bridge location and the green portal opens up as the three walk through it arriving at base which is a little different. They see new gear and everything is a little more updated.

Raf: Hey guys what's with the redecoration?

Elita 1: Well that's why you're partially here. We want to explain why we didn't want you to return a couple weeks ago. We detected a ground bridge usage and when we investigated what we found was surprising it wasn't a ground bridge that opened.
