Y/N POV
"You're kidding me, right? " I say annoyed.
"No Mr. Stark, your father is in a meeting. He has them the rest of the day" V.E.N.U.S remarked.
" wow. I can't believe him, we were supposed to work on designing new tech for my suit. It was even his idea"
As I teleport to the living room and see Steve and Nat. Nat has always been like a mother to me, and Cap acts more like my father than my actual dad does. Sometimes I call them my mom and pops as they act like it.
" Hey what's up N/N?" Nat giggled. She knew how much that nickname made you laugh.
" Hey, mom! Could we go train for a while?'' I groaned trying to hide the sadness that coats my throat. Unfortunately, Steve heard.
" Was it Tony again?" Cap asked worriedly.
" yea it was. He said a few days ago that we could work on new tech for my suit today. He even said he would clear his schedule, I asked V and she said that he has meetings the rest of the day. Why would he even say he would clear his schedule? He didn't mean it." You cried into Nat's shoulder. As you head to get up to go to the training room you see your father walk in. You bolt up and sit on the couch wiping your tears as your eyes go back to normal.
" Hey, guys what's up?" Dad questioned as he looked in our direction. Natasha was fuming, and Steve just looked at my father astonished at his behavior. Sure it was normal for him to be busy but the fact he didn't even apologize or say anything made Steve pissed.
" Do you have any idea how upset y/n is or do you just not care? He is your son for Thor's sake!" Cap hissed at Tony. When dad looked confused Nat jumped into the argument still fuming.
" Don't look like that Tony. When you get your head out of your ass and figure it out, come find us. Or don't since y/n means nothing to you." When she stands up she looks at you and gestures towards your hands. As you open a portal to the gym you, Nat, and Cap walkthrough leaving behind a bewildered look on dad's face. As soon as you arrive at the gym you change into a tank-top and leggings that you had V.E.N.U.S put in case of a problem with dad.
As we begin stretching my mind starts to wander to my dad. He does love me, doesn't he? He does your being stupid. He never acts like it, he always does this. Makes plans with me then ditches. Cap tapped my shoulder pulling me out of my thoughts.
" You ok?" he questions, lines of concern forming on his forehead as he looks at you.
" yea I was just thinking. Ready to start?" you say quickly trying to change the topic. He looks at you funny but doesn't mention it again.
" I was thinking we would work on your combat. An hour should be sufficient to get your mind off things." Nat spoke loudly trying to catch our attention. You nod and walk a few yards away from her as you get a drink of water. (surprise attack) As soon as you turn around sure enough Cap immediately runs at you trying to catch you off guard. You sprint towards him and flip him onto the floor. Natasha throws a knife and sure enough, you hear (knife). As you whip around you make a small portal for the knife to go through. After around an hour of combat even with no breaks you still weren't tired but figured that you should stop for the day. After thanking Nat and Steve you opened a portal to your room on the 60th floor.
" It appears your father would like to speak with you" VENUS spoke loudly causing you to jump.
"Come in," I say as the door is pushed open.
"Y/N I am so sorry that I forgot our plans for today. Something came up and it needed to be dealt with immediately. I swear that I will clear my schedule for tomorrow so we can spend the day together." He apologized as he sat at the end of my bed.
" I want to believe you I do but this happens all the time. You act like I am just your assistant. I don't remember the last time we spent time together and you didn't have to leave early. I know you're busy, just say that instead of ditching with no warning. " I responded bitterly. He just stayed silent, looking at me.
" I will make it up to you but first, I have a surprise. You will be going to school this year." He declared still looking at me.
" Wait really? What made you change your mind?"
"I have somebody who can keep an eye on you there. You start on Monday."
" That's two days from now? How did you get me accepted that fast?"
" I'm Tony Stark." He spoke with pride, as he hopped up from his chair.
