" Where do you want to go?" Pops asked looking at a map of the mall.
" Um, the bookstore?"
" Don't you have a whole library at the tower? How many books could you possibly need?" Pietro interrupted before pops could respond.
" I've already read all the ones in the library and so has Loki, so we need more."
" How the hell did you manage to do that? There are thousands of books in there and we never see you there."
" Both of you knock it off," Steve scolded exasperated.

" Welcome home Avengers. Y/N would you like to notify your father of your arrival?" FRIDAY greeted you as you step into the elevator.
" No thanks FRI, he's probably busy."
" I'm sure your dad wants to know how your first day was," Sam interjected.
" Well, I'm not going to bother him about it. If it means something to him he can come to ask me."
If you mean something to him more like
" Not now."
" Who are you talking to?" Bucky asked.
" Nobody"

" This is the 3rd time today that this has happened! What is going on?" Pietro shouted as he grabs you by the waist and pulls your torso towards him. The others proceed to pin down your arms and legs before looking at you.
" Nothing, I'm fine. Let go of me."
" Not happening" Wanda spoke, face illuminated by the red glow of her powers as she made your body float out of the elevator to the couch.
" What is going on with you? You lock yourself in your room for hours, barely come out to socialize and now you keep hitting yourself. You can tell us, we love you more than you could know." Natasha voiced concern.
" Well um, dad has been distant and stuff recently."
" You mean like this morning?" Sam joined in.
Half crying, half yelling you respond " Yea like this morning. We were supposed to spend the day together yesterday but no, he went to meetings instead. He hates going to meetings so why now? Why would he go when he said he cleared his schedule? Don't even get me started on the voice." Before anyone can respond Tony walks in as you wipe your eyes. Not bothering to change your appearance to normal you look up at him and are surprised to see he was walking towards you.
" Why are you crying, kid?"
" I'm not crying."
" I'm supposed to believe that? Tell me."
" You really wanna know? Think about it. More specifically how you have been acting towards me, maybe that will give you an idea."
" I've been busy with meetings and fixing the suit."
" What's more important to you? A good relationship with your kid or your suit? Because with the way you've been acting lately I'm going to say the suit. I'm going to my lab unless you are coming to apologize, don't come with me." With one last glance at Tony, you make a portal and walk through it.
