A smile reappeared on my face when I reread that sheet of paper Marshall had given me in the early morning, what he had written was the most beautiful thing anyone had ever said to me.
Once I read it again...

Hi baby right now as I write this it is 4:36 in the morning and all I can think about is how much I like you and how much I wish I could be with you right now.
Everything I wrote is real, you know I don't lie.
Shit isn't finished yet but I promise I will and I will put this in the first album I make.

How could he be so sweet? Right now I felt more confused than ever, Tristan was amazing, I definitely liked him but Marshall was my weakness and he wanted to be with me now.
I was just finishing getting ready for school when my mom came into the room.
"Can you explain to me what Marshall is doing outside the house in a car?" She raised an eyebrow and her gaze went to the flowers he had given me "I don't remember you coming home from school with flowers yesterday."
"Yeah about that... "I mumbled nervously, my mom didn't even know Marshall and I were friends before, she thought I hadn't spoken to him again after he got back together with Kim "let's just say he and I became friends and he wants to take me to school."
"Oh baby no" I saw her let out a sigh and looked at the flowers one more time "I know Tristan didn't give you that, it was him right?" She ran a hand through her hair and my silence said it all "no, you're not going to do this" she shook her head repeatedly "you have someone good like Tristan and you're not going to throw all that away just because of Marshall"
"What's wrong?" asked Luke walking into my room confused, I guess he listen.
"Rory is dating two guys at once" blurted out my mom out of nowhere.
"Mom I don't have time for this right now, I have to go to school" I grabbed my backpack quickly and walked out of my room as I listened to Luke tell mom to let me go, that she could talk to me later.
I walked out of my house quickly and saw Marshall in a car waiting for me, I walked over somewhat confused and got in.
"Hey" I greeted him somewhat nervously as I set my backpack aside "whose car is this?" I raised an eyebrow.
