The boy was running, and he was running quick. His legs aching the faster he ran away into the darkness of the forest. Where was he going? He wasn't even sure himself, but he continued to run as arrows sparked with hot flames flew through the sky. His tail trailed behind him as he stopped for a moment to breathe, but a moment too long.
"Darling... why are you running away?" A man cooed, twirling his bow in his hands and carefully grabbing a new and fresh arrow.
The boy was horrified as he hid behind one of the trees, making sure his tail wasn't sticking out. The man walked slowly around the area, sparking the arrow as a flame grew on it. He looked around for a moment, then gritted his teeth.
"Don't worry, you won't last longer out there then you would with me." The man smiled with an evil, horrific smile as he blew the small flame on the arrow out and began to walk away.
The boy knew this could be his chance to run. So, he did. He ran very quickly and up what seemed to be a hill. But the boy didn't care how far he was going until he tripped on a rock and started tumbling down. He rolled down the other side of the mountain, small shrieks coming from him when his face wasn't meeting with the ground. He rolled and rolled, ready for the harsh impact of when he stopped rolling. He was ready to hit the ground and bleed, bleed out and die. He was ready to pass out and be left there, nobody able to find him and him not able to defend himself from anything. The boy shut is eyes tight as he knew he was close to the ground.

I'm not dead? Or knocked out?... Have I even hit the ground?
Surely enough, when the boy slowly opened his eyes, he was on a dirt-covered ground, surrounded by the tall, dark forest trees. He was beyond confused as his whole body ached, yet he had never felt the impact with the ground. Suddenly, he felt his body lift from the ground as a large, light grey fading to white wing helped lift him. The boy began to panic until whoever had lifted him spoke.
"Don't be afraid, I'm not here to hurt you. I was making sure my magic had worked."
Magic? Who is this person and what were they on about? The boy squirmed a little in the persons arms, his tail swinging as he did. The person did not react other then putting the boy on his back. Despite how much the boy wanted to fight, he knew he was too weak. He carefully held onto the persons back and began to ask questions.
"...What are you, and what magic are you talking about?"
The person smiled happily, giving a calm reply, "Some consider me a bird while other's consider me an angel, It depends how you look at it," he smiled softly, lifting his wings slightly as he spoke. "-the magic I was talking about was my magic. I saw you falling and had to react quickly otherwise you could've been seriously injured."
The boy was scared, what if he didn't have this... angel to help him? Would he have simply fell to his death or would another creature stop his impact with the forest ground? He wasn't entirely sure he wanted to find out. The person carrying him must've realized how scared he looked as they softly ruffled his hair.
"You don't have to be afraid, I will only be taking you to my home so you can heal and then I will ask a few questions for you."
The boy nodded, as the person began to walk assuming the young boy was sure to be sick from flying. As they walked the boy quietly asked,
"What is your name?" The person was quiet for a few moments, but then they replied.
...
"My name is Philza."The boy smiled, he liked the name 'Philza'. As they walked the boy decided to continue making small talk.
"Do you have any family?" Philza smiled to himself, giving a sigh.
"Yes, I do. My children Wilbur, Techno, and Tommy. They are... a handful to say the least," He chuckled and continued, the boy intrigued about these people, "They are adopted, Tommy being the youngest. Wilbur is the middle child while Techno is the oldest. They really do love each other despite them arguing at times. What about you, who is your family? Where are they?"
The boy's enlightened eyes dimmed as he was asked such a question. He felt his head hurt returning to the memory as his breathing hitched. Before it could get worst he felt a fluffy wing rub against his back.
"I'm sorry, you don't have to speak about it if you are uncomfortable," Philza said, giving a reassuring smile. The boy softly smiled back to the angel, nodding his head to say 'thank you'.
They continued walking, the sky slowly turning a light blue as the sun rose. The boy looked at it as if he never saw the sky such a bright color before.
"Before we get to my home, could I have your name?" Philza asked, looking up as well to the blue sky. The boy was silent for a moment, but then mumbled.
"My name is..."------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
