Chapter 24: Is One Day Enough?

"I like you" Chaeyoung blurted out making me break the hug and look at her
"Chae- W-What?" I am beyond shock right now
"Omfg did I just say that" Chae panicked and distance herself away from me
"You like me?" I asked

Chae slowly nodded her head

"I- You know-" Chae cut my words
"I know it won't help the predicament that you're in right now so, you don't have to react or say something about it, right now" Chaeyoung looked away from me
"O-Okay" I replied
"Do you want some snacks or something?" I asked changing the atmosphere
"Sure" Chaeyoung replied shortly

I stood up and opened the fridge, hoping Sejeong did not ate everything

"You can turn on the television, if you want" I suggested
"That would be great" Chae found the remote
"Shit, how can Sejeong eat everything?" I mumbled to myself
"I have to go out. There's nothing left on the fridge" I went my way into the door taking my coat
"It's fine you don't have to buy food-" I cut her words
"I'll be back soon. Wait for me" I quickly opened the door and left

I made my way through the streets of Seoul , still remembering the exact words that Chaeyoung said

"Is she trying to prank me or something?" I asked myself

"If it is true. What did she like about me?" I smiled involuntarily

"Do I like her? Wait no- I like Jennie" I debated with myself

"But Jennie doesn't like me" I looked down feeling sad again

"There's no chance she would"

I opened the plastic bags and checked the food that I brought.

"She will like these" I commented

I continued walking back. Ignoring the fact that my relationship with Jennie right now is fucked up

"Now that Chae confessed" I muttered
"I hope she still stays the same. No awkwardness" I added

If I like Jennie, I shouldn't have feelings with Chae or do I?

I took my step into the balcony and touched the doorknob. I stopped my movement and heard the sound of my old guitar playing
