I fell down on the soft wet ground with my face down. You might think I swallowed the dirt, so big was the hole after I regained consciousness and managed to lift my head. "Wait DIRT!?" I thought, yeah dirt, lots of it. I quickly looked up and saw the trees rising above me. They looked so tall and proud as you saw the treetops extend far beyond yourself. Only a little of the shimmering sunlight managed to penetrate between the large thick leaves and everything had a generally dangerous, but pleasant feeling around it.

Ferns stretched high into the sky and their leaves looked untouched. "Are there no animals here?" I asked myself. It did not look like that anyway. Everything was untouched and perfect. I could post something resembling road signs a short distance away, but none of the engraved places gave me a clue as to where I might be. What was written on the signs were two names of what were probably nearby cities. I could state that "Ovani" was on the left and that "Imbris" was on the right, but none of those names helped me place where I was. I quickly turned my head back to where I probably fell through the mirror. There I saw a person enter the dressing room I had just stood in. They looked at the jeans I had accidentally dropped on the floor before they hurried out of the room. They had probably only checked if anyone was left in them after the power outage, but the frightened look on the person's face said it was something else. Although I did not think much of it. After that assumption, I turned my attention back to my new surroundings. But I quickly turned around again. "Could I go through the mirror again" I mumbled silently to myself. I was just about to stand up to move in that direction. But then I heard something from the treetops.

Something similar giggles could be heard around me and suddenly I realized that it was not just me who was in the woods. The sound was quiet and high, but it was still a giggle. A glistening yellowish powder spread in thin layers over me and I could see small, small creatures.    They were not much bigger than a regular doll and looked like something out of a Disney movie.   There flew little people with wings like butterflies. I could see how some people looked at me and how they giggled. Still just as quiet and high. One had not landed too far away. It looked down at me from the large, uneven rock that resembled a small mountain from the angle I saw it from. The wings must have been as large as a third of the creature's body and they were beautifully colored in different shades of green and yellow. The clothes looked to be made of leaves. They were not the best made with the rough edges and the uneven shape, but they did the job. I began to notice how many of them there actually were, at least 50 of them flew around and landed on various rocks and trees. Everyone seemed to be inspecting me and none of them wanted to let go of the judgmental look that was hard on their faces. The eyes of all loose in beautiful shades of brown and green. Now I understood why I had not seen them before. If you just checked quickly, they would only be registered as a falling leaf or a slightly larger stick.

But this view soon came to an end when the bushes began to move. The former beings quickly withdrew. Soon they were the only glittery powder in the air that could show that they had been to this place. The powder settled in my hair and gave it a faint shimmer. The little sunlight that made its way through the thick crowns of the trees was reflected in the glitter and gave everything around a much warmer and more welcome tone than before.

Now that much of the darkness had dissolved, you could see the beautiful vegetation that this area had to offer. The individual flowers shone with so much color that it was difficult to check out. All colors under the rainbow could be found in less than a square meter. What caught my eye was the hydrangea that grew on its large bushes, letting all its colors shine, everything from purple to red could be found. And then it was the blood elder that gave such beautiful contrasts with its light pink and white shades in the colorful surroundings. Everything fit in with each other and it did not take long before I was enchanted by the beautiful colors and the complex shapes that all these flowers had to offer.

But everything beautiful comes to an end. I could hear the rustling of the bush continuing and, as quickly as I got into it, I was pulled away from my trance. I looked towards the place where the sound came from and there, a little distance from me, someone was standing. I stared. I did not think I would see anyone out here. A taller human. But of course, there was someone here.

And that someone stared straight back at me.
