I'm out here on the street at sunset looking for Millie and Lukas. The others told me to look because they had been away much longer than usual. Normally they are only out for a few hours, but today they went before dawn and have not yet returned home.                                          I've been here a while now. Some weeks maybe. I live with Millie and the others, I have even managed to become quite good friends with them. But Millie has started talking to me less and less after what happened. I told the others, but they did not give me more answers than Millie had done. The closest I got to answer I Alice who had said:                                                                       "The less you know, the better it will be."                                                                                                         Those shifts in atmosphere sometimes happen, but they disappear immediately after.

I walk around a corner and start hearing two familiar voices talking to each other.                     "There they are!" I thought and start hurrying in that direction. I see them standing opposite each other a little further down the street, but what they were talking about surprised me. They talked about me. Millie shouted at Lukas about things like that they could not just leave me on the street, while Lukas tried to come back with me left would be dangerous for both me and the others. The last thing I could bring up was that it would be a challenge for me to be in and live where we do in the city.                                                                                                                                            "Huh, what? A challenge?" I thought "Everything has gone well, it can not be so much different than now".

I did not understand anything. I stood in a small alley not too far from them to listen. I just wanted to come up with something that could explain why they were arguing, but nothing more came that could have helped me. I slide down the wall and let the warm light devour me. I'm starting to get pretty tired of hearing them scream. But everything was calm all around, too calm. What neither of us had realized was that we were not alone in this otherwise abandoned part of town. No, there were some who listened to us.

I close my eyes for a while, just a minute, but when I open my eyes, everything is black. I felt something sharp on my neck and that I could not move my arms. But I still heard Millie and Lukas over there. Without thinking about the consequences, I screamed. At the same time as footsteps could be heard running towards me, I felt how the sharp object was placed a little harder on my neck. It all started to hurt. My head was pounding with stress, my throat felt like someone had cut it open, my arms were uncomfortably placed behind me and someone was pushing me down so I could not stand up.

I heard what I guess was Millie screaming, it sounded like words, but I could not concentrate anymore. Another person I did not recognize the voice of said something. After their words stopped, I felt a sting on my arm before something hot started to run down. Another scream and a few footsteps before another unknown person spoke and I felt the sharp object against my neck pressed even harder. The skin on my neck cracked and I felt my head slam into the stone wall next to it. The little light I had seen before went out.
