Erwin had turned around during his sleep, now resting his hand on the others side and didn't realize it till someone cleared his throat and woke him up. As expected , Hangë stood right above him with a huge smirk on their face and giggled at the commandant who was still half asleep till he turned to his right and saw his hand resting on a peacefully sleeping Levi. He immediately pulled away and jumped up before whipping the dirt off of his uniform and clearing his throat.
"Levi it's time to go." Erwin said while placing a hand on the others shoulder for a second then pulling back and clearing his throat once again.
Levi slowly opened his eyes and felt a light weight on his side but when he looked at it there was nothing there, so he just shook his head and stood up slowly.
"We should've been on our way already." A even deeper morning voice hit Erwin and coughed him off guard. The blond turned around while rubbing the back of his head.
"We're right on time, don't worry it will be alright." Erwin nodded and went to wake some of the other and sighed once all the members of the team were up.
After packing up all of their stuff back together, everyone was in position and ready to ride off while Erwin waited for Hangë and Levi's signal. As he reserved the nods he nodded to himself and started to ride off in the middle of the two.
But this time, he was concerned as well. It was way too quiet and not even a single bird was too be seen and out of no where red smoke came out on the left of the formation.

"SHIT TITANS!" Levi yelled to Erwin who just swallowed and gave the same signal to the other part of the team.
"JUST FOLLOW THE PLAN IT WILL WORK!" Erwin yelled back before looking around, his eyes widening.
There was more red smoke shoot from the left and from the right. The Titans were everywhere around them and the only option they had now was to keep riding till they got into the next, smaller forest that was only a few miles away. He wasn't sure if there were already losses but the plan was to keep riding and ignore the titans, only attack if needed to.
The commandant shot a yellow smoke signaling the special operations squad to keep their formation and ride towards the woods as planned.
As they were riding as fast as they could, an abnormal, around 6 meters tall appeared right in front of them and left the team no time to turn around or change the direction they were riding in.
"WE HAVE TO KILL IT" Erwin said to Hangë who just nodded and Levi shook his head before pushing himself off his house and hooking to the titan.
As expected Levi killed it without any complications but as he was about to head back to his horse, the short male saw a group of large sized titans heading towards them.
"WE HAVE TO CHANGE THE COURSE!" he yelled at Erwin while sitting back down on his horse but the commandant just shook his head and looked to the front with a face that couldn't be read by the black haired.
"THE PLAN IS, RIDING STRAIGHT TO THE FOREST." and with that, their future was written with blood into the white pages of their lives. Levi was starring at Erwin in disbelief as he saw a titan, huge maybe even 7 meters, run up straight towards the blond.
Erwin froze for a second before swallowing and getting off of his horse. He jumped right onto the titans back and tried to cut his neck open but failed before being slammed against a titan back.
All the color on the commandant's face faded away and he split blood before he tried to turn around and kill him this time but his arm was broken and it seemed that several ribs were as well. Erwin looked at Levi and Hangë before nodding, with a small smile on his lips and unbuckled himself. The look that Erwin gave Levi, made the short male shiver and let out a painful sound.
Smith cut the titan's legs and back open, in order to get him away from the team but before he could do more, his body hit the ground and Smith let out a from blood muffled scream. The blond was now looking up at the sky with heavy lid eyes, a foggy mind and sighed quietly. With a whine he smiled and closed his eyes to rest for a moment.. just a bit..
"DONT YOU DARE ERWIN!" was the last thing the commandant heard before everything went black.
