Levi was hovering over the motionless body. Blond was running down from Erwin's arm and leg. The captain was shivering and lightly touching over Smith's arm and chest, his mind foggy, his head spinning. Ackerman let his guard down and his world broke apart. Tears started rolling down his colorless cheeks and vastly dropped onto the others chest and face.
'Snap out of it!' Levi thought to himself. 'You idiot he is still alive you can feel it' Levi squeezed his hand into a fist till he was sure that there was blood and snapped out. He couldn't let his soulmate die. Erwin was his friend and his hero.
"Don't you dare die on me old man" Levi whispered while taking his belt off fast with shaking hands and binding it airing Erwins leg. The same was done with Erwin belt and his arm. The captain ripped his shirt and carefully wrapped it around the blond head before falling back and holding the others hand.
'He is still breathing. You can save him. Get help. Save him!' Levi pushed himself up on shaking legs before shooting green and red smoke out (the signal that called for help).
After moments, Hangë had brought the whole team into this direction and when she saw Erwin laying motionless on the floor, she gasped and looked at Levi in shock and fear.
"He is alive. We have to save him." even his tears and the anger, the shorter male sounded cold.
Levi and Hangë managed to pick the commandant up and carry him to Levi's house. He was put it front of Levi as carefully as possible and they started riding.
Red smoke, again, from the last line of shoulders. Levi heard the gunshots and the screams for help but he didn't turn around. His whole attention on the way before them. The forest was near, the sun going under. He couldn't risk Erwins life, Levi had to save him no matter what.
Hangë was looking at Levi with shock in their eyes but decided to keep quiet. Even if she was in a higher position than the dark haired male, she couldn't bring herself to say anything.
After moments of silence and no further losses, team arrived at the forest. They weren't far away from the wall and they had to turn around but now Erwin was their top priority.
Levi pulled his blanket off his house and ripped two other blankets from his companions off and placed then on top of each other before carefully getting Erin from from the house. He had stopped bleeding and his heart beet was a bit more stable by now. The captain called out for the doctor they had with them this time and when the male came, Levi walked away and started to build up a tent for Erwin. The blond had to be save at least a hit and rest.
After hours of watching the doctor work and patrolling around the woods, he started to search for eatable thing in case Smith was hungry when he woke up.
Everyone was on the position planned for them around the wood and nose of the members of the special operations squad wer ready to die for the commandant. Including Levi.
The sun went under and propel started whispering, exchanging information about what happened, judging, complaining.. but neither Levi or Hangë seemed to care at the moment since the doctor had finished his work.
"I did my best.. it's hard to do that here in the middle of nowhere but.. he shall be fine." after pushing his glasses off and swiping some sweat off his forehead the doctor excused himself and walked off to lay down.
The captain and second commander breathed out in relief as they carefully brought the blond into the tent Levi build for him. With Hangë 's exiting, Levi could finally let his emotions out. Tears started to roll down his face as he gripped his chest tightly.
"You idiot. You should've waited for me" he whispered quietly, his voice broken and tired. "I thought I- I lost you.." Levi looked up at the resting male before slamming his fist in the ground "I swear to everything that I believe in if you dare to die on me Erwin.."
"I'm- n- not go-ing... any- anywhere.."
the words were as quiet as whispers but still manages to fill the full tent and hall back into the others mind. The tears streaming down the male's face.
"You idiot!" He mumbled before laughing and laying his head on Erwins chest carefully "if you ever pull shit like this again I will kill you." With a sniff of his nose, the captain whipped his tears away and took a deep breath.
Erwin had his eyes closed but the small smile on his face was clearly to be seen. "You.. I will never forgive you for this.."  Levi mumbled before laying himself down next to the blond wad carefully wrapping his arms around his torso.
"I- m so-rry"
"Stop talking you idiot.." Levi mumbled before closing his eyes and sighing quietly while the other carefully moved his not that bad injured arm around him.
