The door to my cell swiftly creaked open, and two guards stepped in, and said, "Prisoner 342, face the wall. Hold out your right arm."

But it couldn't be, was I already 18? I'm not ready to die. I can't be floated. Not yet.

So as the guard's men reached for me, I ran straight out into the hall only to see that all the prisoners were out of their cells, restricted by guards and all being led in the same direction.

Suddenly I heard a grunt and some heavy footsteps coming up behind me. Before I had time to react, the first guard grabbed me from behind while the second one clamped the wrist band onto my arm.

Within a few minutes I was on a drop ship. At least what I presumed was a drop ship. It looked as it had been described by the rumours the people heard. But the rumours made the ship sound so much more luxurious than it really was.  Basically it was just a big hunk of metal with seats and seatbelts.

It seemed as though all the teenage prisoners who were on the Ark, under 18 were on the drop ship.

I heard a rustling to my right side as if someone was sitting down next to me.  I turned my head to see who it was and to my suprise and joy, it was Clarke Griffin, my best friend and one of my only friends. Clarke's  eyes widened in surprise as if  she hadn't ever expected to see me again and maybe she hadn't but here I was sitting next to her on a 100 year old drop ship.

Soon after we had all sit down and the ship started to rumble and it got ready for take off.

Clarke looked at me with a hint of fear and a little excitement in her eyes and said, "We're in for a bumpy ride."

I heard a deep laugh coming from the other side of her and I cranned my neck see that it was Wells Jaha, my other best friend. I gave him a smile but Clarke just gave him a look of disgust and hate. The playful and fun atmosphere that had so recently been around us vanished as if it had never been there in the first place.

Wells turned his head, obviously upset and Clarke continued to glare at him. The ship gave a jolt and it descended even faster than it had been already going, forcing Clarke to not look at Wells anymore.

As the drop ship slowed down someone floated in front of us. I quickly realized that it was Finn Collins. Who among the juvenile delinquents was known as Spacewalker.

While in my train of thought Clarke and Finn must have been talking. But now Clarke was trying to get two boys to stay in their seats but they weren't listening. Out of no where the ship gave a heavy shutter and we hit the ground. Finn and the other two went crashing to the floor. Probably dead or pretty wounded. Clarke was yelling out Finns name.
