Blue sonder rip off

Chapter 1 - Just the beginning

Rez's POV:

I woke up to feeling something tap my forehead several times. I opened my eyes to see what or who it was. It was a small girl with a tail, which was tapping my forehead, blonde hair, blue green eyes and.. cat ears?

Her feet where above of my head, so I quickly spinned around on the ground and tackled her. I jumped and flew back a little right after.

The girl fell onto the ground "what the hell? What was that for?!" She shouted.

I now also noticed she had cat like feet too, she was one of those forest creatures, 100%.

I realized I didn't answer her question but when I looked at her face the angry expression was gone and it was replaced by one full with fear.

"Y-you're not one of those humans are you?" She muttered. "You can't be! You have wings! Or did you kill an angel for those! No wonder they're black, it's the evil inside of you that did that!"

In confusion I looked at my wings. They were indeed black now. "Wait what the fuck? That's so cool! I love this."

...

Oh right, the furry.

I looked back at the girl, she was hiding behind a tree but I could clearly see her. "Calm down, I'm not a human, I promise." I tried to reassure her.

"And why should I believe you?" She stopped hiding behind the tree. "Your wings are shaped like angel wings, but they're black!" She slowly walked towards me. "It obvious that you're one of those evil humans! And I'll never forgive those!" She jumped at me, but I saw it coming. I stepped out of the way just in time, I expected to be able to dodge easily but the speed she had was surprising. Although it did make sense with the whole cat thing.

The girl fell onto the ground but caught herself with her hands and knees. She reached out with her leg, attempting to tackle me, but I just jumped up and started flying.

"If I was a human, I would've killed you already, yet I didn't hurt you at all. So that basically shows it already, I'm just an angel that went to earth and my wings got black because of it." I exclaimed, I didn't want to tell her that I'm actually a fallen angel now, since they're described as evil. And I mean, I wasn't lying, just holding back some information.

"You're lying!"  Oh, great.  "I've seen angels here and their wings were white."

I sighed and facepalmed, but when I removed my hand from my face the girl looked scared again. What now?

"H-humans, I can hear them." The girl muttered. "I knew it! You are one of them."

Hearing what she had said scared me, but only a little. I had heard a lot of stories about humans, how they slaughtered the creatures on earth and stole some of their power. The angels believed that the humans weren't their job to take care of, they only had to kill the demons that where on earth. Humans were just a small obstacle sometimes, because some were friends with the angels, but most just wanted their feathers or power. Demons on the other hand, only caused destruction, chaos and death. It didn't matter if they were good or not, good demons didn't exist anyway.

I grabbed the girl's arm and flew up to a tree branch, it seemed like it was evening, because it was getting a little dark, right on time.

I landed on a tree branch pretty high up, but the tree itself wasn't that big, otherwise I would've gone more up.

I put the girl down in front of me and covered us with my wings, hoping the humans wouldn't see us.

Slightly lowering one of my wings, I could see the humans slowly passing by. It was a group of four. They were obviously armed, which made me a bit nervous even though I knew they were evil, so it made sense. But still, we would've been in trouble if they saw us.

When they were gone and I couldn't hear them anymore I lowered my wings completely and looked at the girl. "You're welcome." I instantly said. "Do you believe the fact that I'm not a human nor evil now?"

"Fine... but only if you tell me why your wings are black, otherwise I won't believe you."

I sighed. "Well, I think it's something about fallen angels, they have black wings. I don't know much about them, but they aren't in heaven. So I guess I became one because I went to earth without permission." Most of that was true, but if I told her everything she'd probably attack me or run away or something. And I needed her to explain me how to survive on earth, since I didn't really pay attention in the classes I did go to.

The girl spoke. "I never knew those existed.. I still don't completely believe you, but it'll do for now. Why did you decide to go to earth?"

"Uhh.." I couldn't tell her the actual reason, at least not right now. "I'll tell you, if you tell me more about you, and if you show me how to live here on earth."

The girl jumped up and stood on the tree branch with a cocky smile on her face. "My name is mercy, I am a Catsune that's 1 year old. I travel around the world searching for creatures like me, and to find out more about the world."

"What's a Catsune?" I asked confused.

"Oh right, Catsune's are a type of species. There's thousands of different kind of species on earth. Humans and angels also are." She said with a proud look on her face.

"Yeah I've heard of those, makes sense."

"Now it's your turn to introduce yourself." The girl sat back down and stared at me.

"Well, I'm Rez, I'm 3 years old. I'm an angel- I mean, fallen angel. And I want to know more about earth."

"Nice to meet you Rez!" The girl said and hugged me.

I laughed slightly and hugged back. "Nice to meet you too, Mercy."

Side note: the aging is different here. Mercy might be 1 year old but her mind and body is like the one of around 13 years old.

Rez is almost 15
