Salaam:) HOW DO YOU GUYS LIKE IT SO FAR? ALSO PLEASE VOTE&COMMENT BECAUSE THAT WOULD MAKE ME SMIIIILE:)))) yeah all my double chins! ^.^

I ran into the company and found my new office. I loved the look of it. Small and very sleek. The door next to my desk was to be the boss I am working for. We shared a wall.

I guess this how things work now.

I haven't met them so I hope that they are nice. I had worked for a horrible boss before and it wasn't fun. I can't function with a rude and unprofessional person.

I saw a lady walk up to my desk and I stood up to greet her.

"Welcome!" She said brightly as she extended a hand. I shook her hand and a question popped up.

"Where is the big man?" I asked her. I was purely confused. I mean why is it fair I have to show up this early and whoever the 'boss' is gets to show up anytime!

I'm crazy but this is how I think of it. If the boss doesn't show up early but I do then he doesn't gets paid for time he missed that means I don't get paid. Which then means I have wasted an hour of my precious life here! Time is money people!

"Oh honey he's here but he's probably out on the roof." She said and walked away. What on the roof? Why would he be there?

Huh oh well. I will just get started. I sat down and began shuffling through the paper work that was already piled on top of my ebony desk. I pulled open the typing pad and began typing away.

I was trying very hard to figure out these weird documents. Many things needed to be written and filled in. Oh and the emails! I quickly felt a headache coming on. Was I really for for this job?

As I was in the midst of my work a shadow suddenly loomed over me. I look up and see a tall man structured man in a nicely tailored suit. His jet black hair was disheveled and his bright hazel eyes really gave him a more exotic look. His sharp features and neat eyebrows added to his handsomeness. However the rigid look on his face worried me. Was I doing something wrong?

I'm guessing he noticed me because I obviously stood out like a sore thumb.

I looked up to see what the heck was his problem. But before I could say a thing he spoke up.

"Who are you?" He simply asked with a frown on his face.

"I'm the new secretary of the boss on the roof." Hah he's on the roof. I wonder if he fell off! That would be sad. But then again i--

My thoughts were interrupted by his stern voice. "You are?" He said in disbelief.

"Yes." I said. Why was he surprised? What does it have to do with him? Kind of annoying if you ask me.

"Why does it concern you ?" I continued. I was annoyed by him.

He looked flatly at me like he thought I was the dumbest person on earth. "Because You're working for me."

Whaatt?! This guy? My boss?Thank God we will be working separately. He seemed to be too cocky for his own good.

Keep it professional Amina.

"Okay. Nice to meet you."I said. Thank Allah that this job isn't forever. I stayed calm. I'm not going to freak out.

"Same." He extended his hand.

Oh... I looked at his hand. We weren't married and he was Haram to me. I can't shake my hand. I hope he doesn't get too offended, but then again Allah mattered more.

I looked at him and sent him an apologetic look. "I'm sorry I don't shake hands with men." I said.

He looked confused. Then suddenly realization surfaced his face. "Oh, your one of those girls." He said.

I was shocked. What does he mean?! I felt disrespected. Oh so being a good muslim girl meant I was a category for him. He turned around and began walking to his office. I couldn't help it.

"Hey! What do you mean?" I quickly blurted. Way to keep it professional Amina.

But I didn't care. I don't like when people insult islam or Muslims just because they don't understand it. One time me and an atheist woman stayed talking for three hours because she accused me of something concerning islam and I didn't run away. I stayed and talked to her to clear up a lot of misconceptions. Let's say she had a lot. So much so that when I explained to her she understood and then came to the masjid with me to learn more.

He turned around. "What?" He said with an annoyed tone.

"You shouldn't disrespect someone's religion just because you don't understand it. Or assume anything because you think you can. " I spoke calmly because I didn't want any problems. I want us to respect each other at least.

His annoyed look turned into a mischievous one. "I know more than you think."

I was mad. Clearly he doesn't! "How so." I said through gritted teeth.

"I am - well- I think I am a Muslim." He said.
