The man leaned his back on the side of his white range rover.

His dark orbs were staring at the woman that stood not too far from him, happily eating her favorite ice cream. They were on the way to meet the woman's parents about to discuss his future wedding with the woman herself.

Was he ready for it?

The answer was a big no. If he could honestly say his answer from his deepest heart, he'd say that he didn't want to marry the woman he had dated for these past 8 years. You must be wondering why?

He ruffled his strawberry blond hair in frustration when he thought about what he had to say to his fiancé regarding this matter. He wanted to call off the wedding but he kept enduring it.

He said to himself "later" and always been like that until this day finally came.

Their wedding was about to be hold in 3 months from now and Kim Taehyung couldn't figure out his own problem to stop this before he finally got wedded with the woman who still licked her ice cream without a care in the world, truly enjoying herself at the moment not knowing that her fiancée was about to break her heart with his decision.

He finally came with a decision that he would say his thought right now. With determined eyes and straight posture, he began to speak loudly. "Tanaka Maru, let's break up!"

It was honestly loud but unfortunately not loud enough to be heard by the said woman. How could she hear his words if there are multiple sounds from vehicles on the road in front of them honking their horns multiple times?

Maru actually heard that her fiancée was calling her but she couldn't make out the rest of his words.

The heart inside of Taehyung's ribs was beating aloud in his ears the moment his fiancé turned her front body to face him, revealing her cute face that was now etched with confusion. It wasn't because of her that his heart was acting up like this but it was because he dreaded what was to come his way to know her final reaction. After thinking quickly, Taehyung realized that this wasn't the best time to voice out his feeling.

"Huh, what do you say, Tae?"

The woman approached him slowly before standing right in front of him. Her head was tilted to her right side that made her even cuter. She had this type of typical cute Japanese face. Well, it wasn't wrong because she was a Japanese herself not a Korean. Thankfully, she was fluent in Korean just like Taehyung who was fluent in Japanese too so they could communicate using both languages with ease.

Fortunately for Taehyung, the woman that he called his fiancé didn't hear what he said. His heart was starting to calm and beat normally before he flashed her a charming smile that made her easily fell for him since the first time she met him.

"There is a little bit of ice cream in the corner of your lips," he said while still smiling at her.

Maru instantly raised her hand to the corner of her lips before wiped furiously at the ice cream stain off of her face. Her round cheeks tinted with pink a little.

She coughed a little to mask her embarrassment before striding her way to the other side of the car—passenger seat. "Well, I'm done with my ice cream, Tae. We should start moving again now or we are going to stuck in the traffic."

Kim Taehyung sighed in relief when his fiancé didn't ask him further about what he said before. He mentally slapped himself for trying to break the poor woman's heart in a bad situation.

Taehyung got inside as well and started the engine of his car.

He glanced at the woman who sat beside him who was now humming happily with her soft blue headphone covering both of her ears. A small smile was plastered on her cute face and Taehyung wondered if she would smile at him again after he revealed his true feelings.

Tanaka Maru just enjoying herself now without knowing what would happen to her a few hours later.

She didn't even know that her fiancée was about to break their happy 8 years of relationship.
