Happiness

Happiness. It's a rare thing to find. It may come into your life in the simplest way or the most difficult. For me it happened in the hardest way possible but, I wouldn't change a thing. I think back to the day I met this man and how much he simply infuriated me.

Flash back...

I check my watch. It's 8:50 crap I'm already 10 minutes late. I'm going to be killed by my parents because I'm sure that old hag, Madam Flure, will rat me out that I was late. I continue sprinting to the subway with my case for my violin rolling behind me.

Suddenly a drop of rain hits my head. I mumble out a string of curse words knowing it's about to pour. Nonetheless I continue running because I'm less than a mile away from the subway. I get mud on my shoes in the process but I don't really care.

All of a sudden I accidentally run into a boy who looks around my age who tells me to piss off. Usually I don't take bullshit from people, especially from men but from his roughly 6'2 frame against my 5 something in me tells me to choose life. I mumble out an apology and he yells at me,"Next time watch where you're going you cunt!"

And then he says something along the lines of, "My father is going to kill me for ruining my new shoes. Ugh that bitch-" I don't really care what he says next because I'm not going to ever see his prissy ass ever again.

I finally make it to the subway and I rush through the ticket booths and hurry my ass over to where my ticket tells me I've got to be. The train blows its whistle three times and signaling its going to be departing soon.

With that I rush in and find a seat far enough away from the group of creepy men and far enough away from the druggies getting higher than the Eiffel Tower.

I've memorized the route of this train so it should take me about 10 minutes to get there and a 3 minutes walk so I should be there by 9:10 easily. Only 30 minutes late, not bad.

Timeskip to her inside her music studio...

I rush into the studio with my violin trailing behind me like a dog. Quickly I walk into the room not wanting to be even more late than I already am.

Suddenly I hear that annoying, whiny voice that I've become too accustomed to, "Ah Miss Pelnovi has finally decided to join us." All the pairs of eyes shift onto me and my cheeks heat up slightly from all the unwanted attention I'm receiving.

"Well have a seat you're holding up the class!" I quickly walk to my seat not daring to make eye contact with anyone. I sit down and look to the side of me to only see the asshole that I ran into before getting to the subway.

He pays no attention to me and continues scrolling on his phone. I decide it's safe to see what he looks like closely. He's got dark wavy hair that is slightly damp from the rain. He's wearing a crewneck layered on top of a collared shirt. Some jeans and white shoes that you can easily tell had mud on them through the poor attempt of trying to clean them. A sharp jawline and high cheekbones. Honey colored eyes that I can't help but stare at.

I stare so long that I don't even notice that he realizes that I'm the girl who ruined his shoes earlier. "Hey, you're that bitch who got mud on my shoes."

End of memory.

I exhale and get rid of that memory from my mind. I then take my hand off of his chest and push a strand of that wavy hair, that I learned to love, out of his face even though he's sleeping. "Yeah" I think to myself. I would go through all of that pain for eternity just for me to sleep in his arms for a night. And with that I drifted off to sleep knowing this man was wholeheartedly mine.

I'm backkkkkkk! Love this one! As always requests are open. -M
