𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐍𝐀 𝐅𝐋𝐄𝐖, 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐔𝐈𝐓 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐘𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐀𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐆𝐈𝐀𝐍𝐓 𝐋𝐈𝐙𝐀𝐑𝐃. People screamed under it as it ran through the city, destroying everything in its path.
"Friday, boost my jets." She spoke into her helmet, keeping her eyes locked on the thing in front of her.
"Catch me up to her, Friday." Another voice came from the side of Athena, but she didn't have to look to know who it was.
"Ok, here's the plan," Captain America's voice came through her earpiece. "Banner and Thor, go and distract the thing from below. Romanoff, Clint, the kid, and I are gonna take it from the top—"
"I have a name, you know?" The kid interrupted, coming into view and swinging right in front of Athena. She smiled under the mask, deciding to take her chance now to pick at him, though in hindsight, that was a good idea at the time.
"Oh, hey kid," She waved her hand through her mechanically gloved one, at her best friend, hearing him snort through his cloth mask.
"We're loosing time," Captain came again, his voice in a slight sing-song tone. After both kids mumbled a quiet 'sorry cap,' he continued. "After the rest of us get him distracted, Tony, Stark jr., and Rhodey, take the element of surprise to attack. Got it?" He finished.
"Got it, Cap," Most of the team answered back, moving into the position he had told them to just seconds ago.
Tony turned his head in his mask, looking at his daughter, who already seemed to be looking at him. They made eye contact through the mask and nodded, both turned the opposite ways at the same time, Rhodey flying above them to join their plan.
All of a sudden as she flew the opposite direction, she heard a loud thump, followed by her fathers voice. "Shit!" He cursed, and she guessed he must have hit something on his way around.
Athena giggled, though she wasn't the only one who heard that. "Language," Captain said, focusing more on what Tony said, rather then what happened. Athena furrowed her brows, holding her tongue back from laughing, but her father beat her to it.
"Wait a second, no one else is gonna deal with the fact that cap just said, language?" Tony said, just as everyone started to attack the lizard from all sides. Athena smiled, having almost said the same thing. Like they say, like father, like daughter.
