They talked about Athena's school day, since it was a Tuesday in August. But now, they had made it to a different topic, though this one seemed like it was was going to say.

"Well, what did Friday tell you?" Pepper asked, hearing he husband huff in confusion.

"She said that there was nothing wrong and that she couldn't even find anything that was alarming. I mean, I built her." Tony said, completely stumped on what was going on, seeing as he had been trying to figure it out for the past hour.

"Has anything else happened?" Pepper asked, mainly towards Athena.

Athena picked at her food, shaking her head. "Nope," She said, popping the 'p'. "Not since we came back, at least." She explained, finally taking a bite of her food. But, before anyone could question anything, something caught Athena's eye.

An owl flew in through the open window, making Pepper jump in her seat and Tony drop his fork. Athena had already seen it, so she wasn't startled by it. It flew across the table, landing on the seat that Athena sat on.

"See, this is why we don't open the windows." Tony explained, looking between the window and the owl. Athena, on the other hand, reached out to pet it.

She ran her palm over its head, watching it lean into her hand in comfort.

"Is that- is that a letter?" Pepper asked, narrowing her eyes to get a better look at the owl, seeing that it did in fact have a letter attached to its leg. "Since when do people still deliver mail through owl?" She asked curiously, earning a shrug from her husband.

Athena reached out, untying the letter from its tiny leg. "Thank you," She smiled, and as though the owl understood her, it nodded and flew out the window again.

"Well?" Her father said, opening his palm out for the letter, figuring it was his just as everyone else did. Athena was about to pass it to him, until she read the front.

  Miss A. Stark

She quickly receded her hand, staring at the letter in it. She wondered who would write to her, but even more, how they knew her exact address.
