Arriving at Hogwarts

The rest of the train ride was uneventful except for the Marauders planning of a new prank on Slytherin. They were going to glue their entire common room to the ceiling and dye the bed sheets red and gold. I personally thought it was brilliant, and I could not wait to see. We pulled into Hogsmead station and the Marauders took no time hopping into a carriage pulled by a skeletal looking horse. I had never seen one before, but I had never had the pleasure of arriving at the castle by carriage. Sadly, I had only attended one year at Hogwarts, but it was the best year of my life. I settled in James's lap and he lightly petted me as we rode to the castle. "I can't believe you would leave me like that Aury..." Sirius said sounding genuinely sad. I then did probably the most childish thing, I stuck out my tongue. Sirius gasped loudly while James and Remus died in laughter. "That is probably the weirdest thing I have ever seen..." Remus sputtered gasping for breath. "Haha!" Sirius replied sarcasm dripping from his voice. He hopped out of the carriage as soon as it stopped and pretended to stalk off mad at us. I mewed quietly and he stopped. "Is that an apology?" he asked looking at me like a mother would. I gave a curt nod. "Oh I knew you would come back to me one day!" he said dramatically stealing me from a loudly(Fake) weeping James. Remus sarcastically patted James's back as we made our way into the great hall. "HELLO MINNIE I MISSED YOU!" Sirius screeched waving to Professor Mcgonagall. She looked at him with a serious expression,  but she failed at hiding the grin that spread on her face. "She loves us really," James told me as we sat down. The sorting was over in no time and Dumbledore gave a short and odd speech. Before we knew it, there was food in front of us. "Are you really giving your cat mashed potatoes?" Lily asked referring to the separate plate Remus had so thoughtfully made for me. "Well technically she belongs to Sirius but..." He smiled looking at me as I contently consumed some pudding. She shook her head in disgust and looked away. Oh Lilybug if you knew who I was you wouldn't care. There was little talk from the four pranksters during the feast. They were too busy stuffing their faces, and before we knew it we were heading up to our dormitories. As soon as we were alone in the room I shifted startling everyone but Sirius. "I have missed this place!" I exclaimed stretching and jumping onto one of the Five four poster beds. I was short enough that I did not bump my head. "Oh my god Sirius she is a midget!" James whispered to Sirius. Remus sent them a look in warning, but it was too late I had heard him. "What did you call me?" I asked deadly calm. Before he could answer I had flown off of the bed land on his back with my arms securely around his neck. "You call me that again you die.." I whispered in his ear. Then I skipped cheerfully to the bed I claimed as mine and giggled at the scared expression on their faces. "I like this girl," Remus commented to nobody in particular. " I try Remmy I try.  Siri may I have me bag?" Sirius nodded and looked through his trunk for my purple bag while James laughed at my comment. I expertly caught the bag when Sirius threw it at me. "She would make a good chaser," James commented judging my catch. I smirked little did they know I was a mighty fine chaser. I did not comment though, and instead reached deep into my bag to retrieve a pillow and a small doll. "Before you say anything this was a gift from my sister," I said just daring them to tease me. Nobody dared to say a word and they all claimed their beds. I got the bed closest to the door. On my left side the order was Sirius, James, Remus and lastly Peter who was across from me. I don't know about you guys, but I am going to bed," I said before rolling over and falling into a deep slumber.
