25. More than a friend

Y/n had been friends with Corpse for almost 6 months now. They had first met at a supermarket. However they would often run into each other since they lived in the same area. Y/n had social anxiety and she clicked fast with Corpse. Y/n was an ordinary girl trying to make money while working at Starbucks and never in her life would she have ever thought of being with Corpse Freakin Husband.

Incoming call from Corpse Husband

Corpse: hey y/n (he said in his morning voice)

Y/n: Corpse morning (she replied still yawning)

Corpse: oh shit I thought you were awake..sorry (he chuckled)

Y/n: oh its okay maybe you can be my alarm (she smiled)

A small blush appeared on Corpse's face but he was thankful y/n couldn't see him right now.

Corpse: I was thinking you'd wanna play among us with me and my friends, I know you have a day off so don't give me excuses (he smiled)

Y/n: Corpse...I don't know (she dragged her words unsure of what to say)

Corpse: ik its a little difficult for you to do this and I understand, but they're gonna love you I promise, and i'll be there too, please? (he beeged y/n)

Y/n: did I hear Corpse husband beg for me (she laughed making Corpse blush again)

Corpse: heyyy...(he laughed) so you're joining ? (he sounded excited)

Y/n: you're lucky you're cute

Corpse: thank you babe (he smiled before hanging up)

Y/n's pov:

I just got off the phone with Corpse and if I'm not deaf I think I heard him call me 'babe'? 'BABE' wtf. I wonder if I heard it correct. I mean Corpse is everything a girl would ever wish for but he couldn't possibly like me in that way right? Ofc he wouldn't what am I thinking.

*time skip* *corpse texts Felix before they start the stream*

Corpse : hety felix, y/n will be joining today

Felix: wait y/n as in y/n?

Corpse: yea my friend y/n

Felix: you sure she's just a friend 😏, you've been talking about her non stop

Corpse: FELIX STOP, ill talk to you later

Felix: okay simp

Corpse's pov:

I'm so nervous about y/n rn. As much I want her to join the lobby today ik i'm gonna do something weird to embarrass myself. I'm so scared rn. I wish I could just tell her how I feel but what if she doesn't feel the same way, and it would also jeopardize our friendship, I could never let that happen.

*In the lobby*

Corpse: guys I have my friend y/n here today!

Y/n: hi everyone Im literally gonna embarrass myself but I'm a huge fan of everyone 

Bretman: hi y/n, oh my god you're so fuckin pretty

Valkyrae: Hi y/n nice to meet you

Y/n: Thank you Bretman and nice to meet you too Rae

Felix: hi y/n I've heard a lot about you from Corpse

Corpse cleared his throat signalling to Felix

Y/n: wow really good things I hope

Felix: oh definitely good things (he laughed )

Later on Sykunno, James, Toast, Jack, Poki joined the game and they all greeted Y/n and made her feel welcomed.

Y/n: i'm so nervous dude

Corpse: you can stick with me this round 

Y/n: well thank you Corpse (and soon the game began)

Y/n was a crewmate and she decided to follow Corpse. They both headed to admin to do the card swipe. Y/n had already done her task but Corpse was still standing there. 

Y/n: Corpse what's taking you so long (she laughed)

Corpse: I hate this shit, I can never do it 

Finally Corpse did the card swipe and went to medbay with Y/n. Y/n scanned while Corpse watched her and soon they were accompanied by Felix and Poki.

*time skip*

Bretman: OMG Sykunno!!!!

Valkyrae: Sykunno that was brutal

Sykunno: I'm so sorry guys I had to kill you I couldn't kill Y/n, she's just too sweet and she's new

Y/n: aww Sykunno, I sometimes wonder if you're even real

Felix: he's just too pure for this earth 

Everyone laughed but Corpse stayed silent. 

James: Is corpse there? Haven't head him in a while

Y/n: Corpse you okay?

Corpse: uh yea just feeling a little nauseous i'll be okay

Everyone spoke and played another round but y/n knew Corpse wasn't feeling alright. After the second round was over Corpse decided to end the stream. After he left, Y/n too said her goodbye and left.

Y/n had visited Corpse's house a few times. He was always very welcoming and she always asked him if he was okay with it. But this time, she felt uneasy, she felt as though something wasn't right with Corpse, he wasn't even replying to her messages.

Y/n decided to visit Corpse. It was just a 15 minute drive. She grabbed her keys and got in her car trying to drive as fast as possible. She finally arrived and knocked on Corpse's door

After a minute or so, she was greeted by Corpse who had his mask and a surprised look on his face.

Corpse: Y/N? What are you doing? Are you okay? (he opened the door for her to come in)

Y/n: are you okay? you left the stream early too, I was just worried

Corpse: yea I did have a panic attack but i'm okay now (he chuckled)

Y/n: hey (she hugged him) 

Corpse hugged her back with a smile on his face. 'She was worried about me'? he thought to himself.

Y/n: are you feeling better now?

Corpse: definitely (he smiled)

Y/n: so I think I'm gonna go now, I don't wanna disturb you

Corpse: actually I would like it if you stayed here today

Y/n: really? I don't wanna trouble you

Corpse: no i'd love if you stayed, I just ordered pizza too

Y/n: okay (she smiled)
