I walk out of the cafeteria feeling slightly more optimistic, this day cant get any worse so I better look to the future and think about how much better I'll do in the next exams.

I decide to head home because I have a free period and I want to change before I go to Melodies and waiting around at school definitely isn't any fun. I hop into my car and drive off with Taylors new album evermore calming me down. Im a big Swiftie. #taytay4eva

"What. The. Fuck." I cant believe this, my mom is slobbering on someone. And its not my dad. Hold on a second, I've seen that dude before... omg that's Nate's dad! My moms face comes up looking guilty and also surprised. She is about to say something but I can't listen after this horrific sight, my fight or flight instincts are activated. I choose flight. I cant even look at her as I  rush back out the door. This is unbelievable. 

I didn't even change my outfit. I hop into my car and put on my sad playlist. Drivers license come on, perfect. I cry a river of tears this is awful. I drive over to Melodies ready to tell her the news. I walk up to her house and frantically knock on the door. Haraold's opens the door with a mildly shocked look on his face. I push past him clumsily saying "Fuck off Haraolds Ive had a really bad day so just please take you serial killer ass and get away from me". I run up the stairs and practically knock down Melodies door, but when I step into her room I watch her pulling the face she only makes while doing maths homework because she's not good at maths, like at all. I burst into tears again immediately and she looks up from her work, saying without hesitation-

"Is this about Brandon?"

I nod in response. I just cant tell her about what I just witnessed. She wouldn't understand. We eat ice cream and cry together. She cries because she failed her exam and I cry because there is no way my life can ever be perfect again.
