Karas past

Part five

Mon-El woke up beside Kara and smiled to himself, today Kara didn't have to work at Catco so he let her sleep and he went to make her breakfast. Almost an hour had past and Kara got out of bed to find Mon-el finishing making breakfast

"morning love," she said with a sleepy voice.

"morning sleepy" he said to her with laughter in his voice

"hey it's not my fault I had to go on a late night alien chase" she told him and he just laughed.

The two sat and ate, Kara telling him more about her past at McKinley High, she wasn't so overwhelmed by the sudden appearance of her past glee club and she felt more comfortable talking about it. After they ate they went to the DEO to find out that there was nothing for them to do.

"I'm gonna take you somewhere" Mon-el whispered to Kara.

"Oh really" she whispered back at him grinning.

"Yeah, take your mind off things. You go get ready and I'll come get you" he told her as they walked out the DEO.

"Alright, lover boy" she said giving him a quick kiss on the cheek before flying back home to get ready.

She didn't know where Mon-el was taking her so she didn't know what to wear.

Kara put on a simple dress, she didn't want to dress to fancy because she had no idea what they were doing. Kara heard a knock at the door and she opened it with a big smile on her face.

"you don't have to knock you kn-" she stopped expecting Mon-el but who she saw was Jake and she closed the door right away, this is not how she wanted to spend her day.

He knocked again and she opened it and told him to go away. "Kara please" he said desperately.

"How did you even find where I live?" She questioned him.

"That doesn't matter. can we talk" he asked.

"No I'm waiting for someone" she told him, annoyed.

"Let me guess is it your boyfriend?" He said and rolled his eyes.

"Actually yes and if you'd leave me alone maybe I would talk with you but you seem to be everywhere" she said and closed the door on him again.

Then there was another knock on the door "WOULD YOU JUST GO AWAY" she yelled opening the door, "Mon-el" she said existed but confused and jumped into his arms to give him a kiss.

"What was that about" he asked wondering why she yelled opening the door

"it was Jake" she said and rolled her eyes "he won't leave me alone" she said frustrated looking right at Jake who was still there standing behind Mon-el.

"Hold on one minute" Mon-el said and closed the door leaving Kara inside.

He talked to Jake and got him to leave but Kara had no idea what he was doing. She was to frustrated to think about using her super hearing to listen so she just went into the bathroom to quickly fix her hair. Then Mon-el came back in.

"He's gone now" Mon-el said.

"You didn't hurt him did you, I don't care how much I don't like someone, hurting people is not how we do things" she told him

"of course not, we just talked" he said to her before pulling her close to him "let's go" he said excited and grabbed her hand and pulled her out the door quickly. She giggled.

"where are we going" she asked him. "I don't know yet" he admitted, "on an adventure" Mon-el continued and she laughed at what he said.  Nothing was really that funny, she was just so happy to spend the day with him.

The two walked through the city hand in hand talking and laughing as they walked, skipped and even danced down the streets. They walked for so long they found them selves out of the city still just talking and laughing when they found a little field filled with flowers and tall grass. The sun was setting by now and they both plopped down in the field and laid there to watch the sunset.

"The sunset is so beautiful" Kara whispered.

"So beautiful" Mon-el continued but he wasn't even looking at the sky, he was watching Kara and the way she looked so mesmerized by the colours in the sky.

Kara turned her head to look at Mon-el and smiled when she saw he was already looking at her "you dork" she laughed out and turned her head to look back at the stars that were beginning to appear in the now dark purple sky.

Mon-el turned and picked a flower and lifted his arm to drop it on Kara and she laughed as it floated down to land on her nose. She grabbed the flower and looked at it.

"You know after Jake cheated on me, unique brought me flowers, these same flowers" she told him "unique is the only one I don't hate from there, she was my friend" she continued.

"at least you had someone there" he said to her

"yeah at least I had her" she said "and now I have Alex and j'ohn, Winn and nia and even Cat" she continued "but I also have you" she said and rolled on top of Mon-el.

"You're comfy" she giggled out

"I can't see the stars anymore" Mon-el said through the blond hair that was covering his face.

"You weren't even looking at them" she said

"fine, I can't see you anymore" he complained and she flipped over.

Their faces laid just inches apart and they stared at each other for what felt like forever. Kara bit her lip resisting the urge to kiss him and ruin the moment of being lost is his eyes but they ended up kissing anyways before Kara rolled off of him and stood up reaching her hand out to pull Mon-el up. She pulled him up, close to him and he tried to kiss her again but she turned her head and laughed.

"let's go home" she said pulling on his arm. "Today was perfect" she said to him as they walked back holding hands, her resting her head on his shoulder.

"Except for when j-" he was say but got interrupted.

"Don't remind me" she said "it's just you and me right now, nothing and no one else" she continued.

They walked all the way back to Karas loft in silence, a comfortable silence. Neither of them needed to talk for them to feel comfortable.

I'm kinda sleep deprived and delusional and just been writing and whatever i write, I write so this part might be kinda bad but I like it🧃
