Ch 2: Gogeta the Butler..?

Gogeta woke up feeling more comfortable than he did falling asleep, he also felt the sheets were much softer. Confused, he slowly opened his eyes and was completely baffled when he saw he was somewhere else. He looked over to his left, and saw Subaru there, sleeping soundly. He went to get up and decided to explore the place. He walked out and opened a random door and saw what was a little girl looking at him.

"Oh, uh, sorry," Gogeta said before promptly closing the door. He started walking back to the room he and Subaru were in when a door in front of him flew open and he saw that girl again. "What the, you were just back there!"

"I'm afraid I can't allow what just happened to go unpunished, first you walk in like you own the place, and leave immediately after?" The girl spoke in an angry tone. She then put a hand on his forearm and then a light began shining from her hand.

1 minute later...

"What exactly are you trying to accomplish here?" Gogeta said, struggling to hide amusement. "Ow!"

Gogeta was squatted on the ground holding the back of his head when he looked up and saw a pink-haired maid holding a pan with a dent the size of his head in it. Normally he would have not even been phased by it, but since his ki was still suppressed, so it did hurt, but no injury was sustained.

"Hey! That hurt! Why did you do that?" Gogeta spoke in a childlike manner. "I wasn't doing anything to her!" He decided to suppress less of his ki in case the maid tried that again, so he could at least try dodging, or at the very least not get hurt again.

"You seem to be quite tough, dear guest." She said monotonously, and with a hint of curiosity. She got into his face, staring into the furthest corners of his soul. And took a... Sniff?

"Uhhhhh, Is that normal practice around here?" Questioned Gogeta, now somewhat creeped out. "I think I'll maybe go back to my buddy back there-" He looked back to see the maid try attacking him again, so, he dodged the attack.

"How did you dodge that?" She questioned, clearly in shock now.

To which Gogeta simply replied, "That's just the level of power I ha-_" He stopped in realization. Cursing himself internally "I've gone and done it now. I'm going to be suspicious to all of them, Emilia already knows a limited extent of my power, but no one else here does. I really shouldn't have said anything.."

"Hah!" The maid sent a blade of wind at gogeta, and it simply dissipated as it hit him.

"Look, I'm not trying to hurt anyone here, can't we talk this out with your master?" Gogeta spoke, wanting to avoid damaging or destroying the mansion. The latter of which was a genuine concern even when suppressed.

"Very well, you and your friend can speak with Roswaal, the owner of this mansion when he returns." The maid said, and with that, she walked off.

A sigh of relief from gogeta as he turned around to head back to Subaru when he saw the little girl from earlier try to drain him from his arm this time. Except for this time, he doesn't say anything and just walks away from her. And with that, she is left fuming as he walks off.

-back in the room with Subaru.

Gogeta tells Subaru about his encounter with a maid, which surprises him, so Subaru asks where he is compared to her. The answer is painful for Subaru to listen to, putting it lightly.

"No way?"

"Yep, the maid is that much stronger than you Subaru."

"Just how much stronger are we talking?"

"Probably a good 6-8x as strong as you, and that's a lowball, and she has magic, which she is very skilled in using."

"Ugh, I'm pretty much useless then, I won't be of very much help at all around here."
