We learn a bit of, well, stuff

Petra looked at her body in confusion, but when she looked over at Rem, she noticed she was still smaller than her, as Rem had a smug smile on her face.

"Whis, come on, seriously? You did that? Why? There's literally no reason!" Gogeta seemed exasperated and not without reason, as Petra was already clingy enough as a child.

"Hmm, something about wanting my ship to sail, perhaps?"

"What? Ship to sail?"

"Ah, don't worry about it, it is not that important."

"I still think it's worth worrying about, knowing you..."

Whis and Gogeta kept conversing as Rem and Petra argued, claiming Gogeta for themselves.

"Gogeta is mine! You're not taking him from me! And stop saying what I'm saying at the exact same time!"

Gogeta sweat dropped, "Whis, was this your plan? To have them both fight over me? Is that really it?".

"Well, not entirely, nothing says in this world that you can't have them both.~" Whis chuckled, he was interfering a lot in this world, which is something an angel isn't supposed to be doing. Maybe since this isn't under Zeno's supervision? That could be it, he does seem to be enjoying himself very much.

Rem and Petra both turned around when they heard Whis. They grabbed and held onto Gogeta's arms, glaring at one another as they did.

Ram was off in the distance and saw everything happening; she knew the context and gained a semblance of respect for Gogeta since he was intelligent enough on a decent level. He wasn't a genius by any stretch, but his learning was not slowing down. Although it wasn't speeding up either. "Maybe he is worthy of my little imouto."

"You know, I feel like he proved his worth a while ago."

"I think so too, he's a very talented and honest man!"

Subaru and Emilia both walked by, holding hands. (I know it's lewd, but calm down!)

Ram looked unimpressed, "Oh, it's you two lovebirds. So tell me, what's it like not being single anymore for the first time in your life Barusu?".

"I feel... Complete. Like I've found something I've been missing, something I've needed for so long. I have Emilia by my side. I've never been happier." Subaru seemed so much more mature; he didn't really tease anyone besides Emilia anymore, and his skills in the mansion improved significantly.

"You surprised me yet again. I might even have to start calling you Subaru now. I Almost respect you now."

"Hey, don't be mean to him, he's my boyfriend now, remember?" Emilia stepped up in defense of Subaru.

"You're also much more assertive Emilia. You've really fallen head over heels, haven't you? You used to be so much more meek, Puck would be proud of you."

"Puck..." Emilia became downcast, and Subaru touched her shoulder, comforting her.

"Emilia, if there's any reason he's gone, it's because he trusts you can defend yourself now. Think of it this way, it's possible you've even surpassed him. He left because you don't need him anymore to be strong. Prove to him he was right to trust your new abilities to defend yourself. I'll be your rock to lean on, and shoulder to cry against, I'll never leave you."

*Emilia couldn't believe her ears, it was all too much to process, but she felt extremely grateful for the support, and also started panting, tackling Subaru with hearts in her eyes.* "When you say such sweet words like that, you know I can't resist! You know how much I love you, don't you? How about I test that statement of yours?".
