The next day Carmen decided to walk to school with Adora.
"Hi!"Carmen greeted Adora.
"Oh hi,you surprised me!"Adora laughed.She had to keep cool until she figured it out.
"So,uh what do your parents do?" Adora asked.
"Well my mom is a scientist and my dad is a doctor."Carmen happily replied,"How about your parents?"
"Well,my dad is a travel agent and my mom is artist."Adora replied.
"Oh fun!Do you ever travel with your...."Carmen began.
"My Dad?Oh no,I can't because his boss is very strict."Adora continued.
"Ok."Carmen said as they walked to school.
When they arrived they learned that school was closed due to the big storm last night.A tree had fallen on the school!
"Well,no school I guess" said Adora "Another day of chores.".
"After you're done could you come over?"asked Carmen.
"Well I'll ask my mom."replied Adora.
"I guess Carmen is really gold not a filthy rock."she thought to herself.
