It was getting dark,and a very large challenge awaited them.It was the Mountain of Mar.
"That is a big mountain." Adora gasped.
"Of course it is." Carmen agreed.
"Leave,Leave,Leave,Leave." A group of natives chanted.
"Oh no,What we do?"Adora trembled.
"Shh!Let's run up the mountain!" Carmen whispered.
"Why are we whispering?" Adora mumbled.
"So they can't hear us." Carmen answered.
It turns out that their leader was named 'Leave' and they were chanting HIS name.As they realized this they ran and ran but,bumped into a native.
The native said in his native language,"hui oho hi oho irta irta foo."
Carmen and Adora were so puzzled that they just stood there.They could not move.
Their leader soon answered,"pui pui tera hi yu yu."
"Hello,We were climbing up they mountain and you came in our way and we don't know what you are saying so uh please leave us alone,uh uh ju ghi?" Adora said without thinking.
Carmen was stunned.
"uh uh ju ghi?" the natives all smiled.
'Uh uh ju ghi' really meant "You want some cupcakes?"
They all danced as Adora and Carmen escaped.
"You did great out there" Carmen smiled "How did you know what that meant?"
"I just said something like,hu hu iga myuo!" Adora laughed.
