In a peculiar and familiar dorm room, Chibi Ruby and Yang are seen playing a fighting game on their scrolls. It was a competitive match between the two sisters and yet it seems that not all was going well for the red caped huntress.
Game Announcement: Yellow Wins!
Ruby sighs tiredly at her loss, while Yang stretches, affirming her victory.
Yang: Ah! Alright, we're all tied up, time to find out who the real winner is! I suggest you take the next match a little more seriously, then you might actually stand a chance.
Ruby in turn rolls her eyes and makes a "blah-blah" motion with her hand, while she mocks Yang as she speaks, culminating in sticking her tongue out at her. Yang pays no attention to this and continues speaking.
Yang: You know, when this is all over, maybe I can teach you a couple combos! Let you learn from the real master!
Ruby: (Scoffs at her statement) If I wanted to learn from a real master, I would ask Y(N), not you.
Yang: Pfft! Y(N) may be a professional when it comes to real fighting, but I could beat him easily in a game like this.
Without a moments notice, Y(N) immediately appears out of thin air beside the two sisters with a scroll in his hand. His sudden presence causes both sisters to let out a frightened yelp, quickly composing themselves as Y(N) lets out a single reply.
Y(N): Challenge Accepted.
Yang: Sorry, Y(N). You'll have to wait your turn. Though maybe you can see how good I am after I beat-
Y(N): You have insulted my pride, you are not to continue your match until you prove to me that you are capable of fulfilling your profound statement.
Yang: (Cockily smiles) Heh, very well! But don't cry when I pummel you into the ground!
Y(N): As long as you don't whine when you ultimately fall before my might.
Ruby simply sits back and enjoys the view, awaiting her sisters reaction when she ultimately loses.
Game Announcement: Ready!
Yang: Prepare to lose!
Y(N): (Unknowingly chuckles) ....
Time-Skip: A Minute Later
Game Announcement: Black Wins!
Y(N) had won, with a score of 3-0. Yang had not even been able to get a single hit in. She had lost quicker than she could have even realized and her pride as a gamer was shattered as a result.
Yang: I....Lost?
Ruby: (Raises her hands with a victorious screech) YAAAAY!!! I knew you could do it, Y(N)!
Y(N): Was there ever any doubt?
Yang: ...What? ...How? ...No way, could it be? ...Y(N), you've definitely played this game before, haven't you?!
Y(N): (Simply puts his scroll away before replying) Nope, first time actually.
With a perplexed stare, Yang points an accusing finger towards the Saiyan God, who in turn does not say anything else.
Yang: No way! You're lying, you have to be! No one could be that good without ever playing anything else!
Y(N): I have played many games in my lifetime, though only one has truly tested my ire and patience to the limit. I have a deep hatred and yet also a grateful time for it. Ever since I dawned its putrid mechanics in my life, I have been able to overcome any game that droves beneath my path.
