Episode 3: Just Another Day

In a familiar courtyard, our main protagonist simply sits near the fountain's edge in an elegant and prestigious manner, befitting of a well-mannered character. Alongside him are our two favorite chibi individuals, Jaune and Ren. Each one sits alongside him at a reasonable distance, simply discussing all manners of topics.

Jaune: Do you ever wonder why we're here?

Ren: That question can be interpreted in many different ways. I for one do not question the reason for life, I simply live it and allow my actions to determine my future.

Y(N): Hmmm, interesting choice of words.

Jaune: Well, in my case...I think we're here to help others, you know? I mean, life goes on, but in some cases we determine where it goes. Or sometimes bad things happen and then we need to make a new plan. (Scratches his head) I honestly don't know, I'm not really good at the whole explaining thing like Y(N).

Y(N): One does not need proper altercation to fully clarify the reason for such an existence, Jaune. The fact that you believe in helping others is a crucial part of your growth, and it clearly shows that your heart is in the right place. A life serving others may seem dull and a misuse of time, though you never know how a simple action can influence the people you have served.

Jaune: Huh, I guess I never thought of it that way.

Ren: Yes, quite so....Though I am curious... Y(N), do you know why you are here?

Y(N): Of course I do. I provide entertainment to forces unforeseen in this world. My life is but a readable pass time for those who desire more than what they have seen in the real world. In some cases, I tend to be more than what many have initially suspected. Though there are many who acknowledge me, only one other being truly knows of my existence and all the secrets that I hide within.

Jaune/Ren: (Confused) What?

Y(N): I'm afraid that is all I can say at the moment. Though I assure you that such information will not cause you any harm.

Before more could be said, a ringtone plays out, signaling an incoming call from Yang. Grunting in annoyance, Chibi Y(N) takes out his scroll and declines the call immediately and without hesitation.

Jaune: Uh, shouldn't you have answered that?

Ren: It could have contained quite the important information.

Y(N): Trust me, that call was not important in the slightest.

Jaune: (Shrugs) Well, you never know.

Y(N): ...I do know...

An incoming voice-message tone sounds, as Y(N) simply refuses to acknowledge it.

Ren: I think you should listen to it.

Jaune: Yeah, it can't be that bad!

Y(N): (With a monotone expression, he simply takes out his scroll once more) ....You'll regret those words...

Yang Voice-Mail: Hey Y(N)! ...This is Yang, your one and only future girlfriend! ...I was wondering what you are doing for this upcoming weekend? ...I don't have anything planned so I want to spend some more time with you! ...I know we see each other every single day, you know, because we're roomies! I actually have some awesome stuff planned and it involves a change of clothes...For me, of course... Though I wish you would actually take off that outfit of yours every once in a while... Or you know...I could do it for you~ ...(Giggles)...Anyway...call me...I'll be waiting for your answer, Hot Stuff~
