Chapter 7 The ruby of hope

The morning has come, Noa woke up early while Prince Norwin is still asleep. She readies herself and she ate her breakfast happily and went to her room to wake prince Norwin up and he was awake a minute ago.

Noa: Good marrow to you! I have warm a bath for you.

The warm water was in a small woody bowl she placed it next to his bed. Noa went downstairs to the kitchen to get prince Norwin's breakfast. Prince Norwin was a bit sleepy he took the bath without arguing it he was not fully awake. Prince Norwin finished taking a bath shortly before Noa came to bring his breakfast. Again cherry tomatoes were his breakfast since Noa was not allowed to take any food from the pantry only when her time comes and also anyway Prince Norwin has a tiny stomach. Prince Norwin became mad because all she could give him was a cherry tomato that he thought she disregards his royal title. While Noa feels happy for being like a mothery friend to him.

Noa: how is it? I hope it fills your stomach up.

Prince Norwin: This big red ball is not food for it to fill up my hunger

Prince Norwin said it with a grumpy voice that his face started to turn red. Noa burst out laughing and started to tease prince Norwin.

Noa: Oh, unlucky me for giving you a cherry tomato when you already look like a red ball after all

Prince Norwin: do you think it's pretty fun making a joke at me Just because I have been cursed. How dare you snickering at me!

Noa: don't be angry my dear friend a little tease won't hurt you. I notice you keep having a hard time alone. I will help you to find a cure but don't suffer alone I am here.

Prince Norwin felt upset for the curse that came upon him from the witch after he led his loyal friend died which isn't. He feels helpless after all the witch done to him, his tiny hope may be smashed later on. The glowing ruby on his crown starts to fade as he gets saddened.

Noa: don't be cast down I am here for you let me aid you please don't lose hope.

Noa began worrying about prince Norwin she does not want him to suffer miserly anymore. Noa decided to find a way for a cure and his hope.

Noa: let's start our journey of searching for a cure for you let no time be wasted now before the current prince's engagement with miss Lora. Let's have you get your throne back to you

Prince Norwin came to his senses and let no more suffering come to him and for not losing hope. He felt not alone he was delighted at how was Noa worrying about it even though he said many unpleasant things toward her. He can't get himself to stop smiling and said.

Prince Norwin: You seems to care about me a lot what a good mere helper you are.

Noa smiled since now prince Norwin acknowledged her as his companion and might as well be good to her. Noa looked at the clock and realised that she is late for her part-time work she went to get her bag and to prince Norwin after he took big bites of cherry tomato fastly. Prince thought cherry tomatoes are not that bad but can't be eaten every day.

Prince Norwin: Hmmm. But at the slight, though it is better than nothing. You won't get my thankfulness.

Noa: Well, I will get your gratitude soon but stay with me for a bit at least let me support you.

Prince Norwin: hmph, I will see if you are valuable in helping me. But don't get ahead of getting my favour.

Noa giggled, just how more he will be able to reveal his true feelings bit by bit to his mere friend. Off they went to begin the adventure. But more pieces of the puzzle will get together.
