As I walked out of the music hall and stepped out into the parking lot, I looked around to see if Callie was out of class yet. I sighed when I couldn't find her and walked super slow to her car. Mainly because I'm to lazy to walk any faster, but also because I don't want to sit in the car by myself while I wait for her to get out of class. It can get sort of uncomfortable when people walk by and stare at you through the window, or especially when people park in front of you and stay in the car, I hate that.

I don't really like people in general. I don't do well in crowds, and when people at school or public places try to talk to me I get super nervous or defensive.

Eventually I was reaching out for the door handle on the car and opened it. I tell Callie to lock her car but she always uses the excuse that she has nothing worth more than ten dollars in it and that people can't really steel the car unless they have the key or a tow truck.

I sit down in the passenger seat and pull out Harry Potter and prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling. I have read the Harry Potter series so many times that I have lost count and Prisoner of Azkaban has always been my favorite.

I read for a good thirty minutes before the drivers door opens and Callie slides in.

"Damn, why does it have to be so hot outside, I mean this is New York and it feels like Florida." She complained.

I shrugged not really listening because I was at the part of the book when Sirius Black and Remus Lupin confront Peter Pettigrew in the shrieking shack.

I feel her look at me and hear her snort. "Your reading that again. Don't you have like a whole bookcase of books you have yet to read?"

I nodded and turned the page.

She shook her head "I don't get you sometimes."

I glanced up at her and then turned the radio on. It was still playing on the classical music channel and neither of us bothered to turn it. Callie acts as if she doesn't like this type of music but I can tell she secretly enjoys it.

"So where do you want to eat?" She asked "I was thinking maybe we could just go to McDonald's."

At the prospect of food I closed the book and racked my mind for different restaurants in the area. "Can we go somewhere a little bit healthier?" I ask.

She shrugged "Yeah, we could do that. How about the bistro by the apartment?"

I nodded and pulled my phone out of my bag to check my social media. We honestly didn't even know the name to the bistro but they had really good sandwiches and we were regulars. If we weren't eating at home, we were at the bistro across the street.

When we got there we went inside and ordered our food, while Callie waited for it, I went and found a table for us to sit at.

After about  five minutes she walked over with two sandwiches and that sat them down on the table.

"So did anything happen at school?" She asked.

I shrugged "Just some guy who joined the orchestra. Katy was replaced and he is now second chair first violin."

She looked at me with a shocked expression. "Does Katy know? I mean she is not going to take that well. What was Kavanagh thinking?"

"I don't think she knows, but if you would hear him play, you would know why Riley put him in that seat. He's almost as good as me." I take a bite of my sandwich and look around the shop.

"yeah, but that's still going to hurt Katy, I mean she tries just as hard as everyone else and it's going to be hard for her to get a job as a conductor if her record says 'demoted a chair''. Callie replied.
