Harry POV

"I will catch you boy!" Uncle Vernon screeched as I ran through the play area clutching a cream coloured letter which was written on with emerald green ink.

"You will not get away!!!"

We were at the park and a letter had arrived mysteriously addressed to me. I had no living relatives (other than the Dursleys) and no friends. So, I had no idea who wrote this letter or what it was about.

And of course I wanted to find out.

The chase must've been hilarious to watch.

One minute, Uncle Vernon was standing making small talk with Mr Fernsby and the next, when the letter arrived, his usually pink face had become a pale white with hints of a furious plum purple!

Then, he started running.

His chin wobbled and he panted like he had just ran a marathon!

I was practically grinning! First of all, I was winning the "race" and secondly, I was getting to watch Uncle Vernon embarrass himself in front of lots of children and their families!

Until Mr Fernsby joined the race.

He used to be a world champion sprinter, so he was fully trained up, and as soon as he realised something odd was going on, he joined in on the chase to steal my letter.

That was the number one rule if you lived on Privet Drive. You can't let ANYTHING abnormal happen.

So what did I do?

Run even faster of course! I ran and ran and ran! That's the benefit of running; you can go so fast. But there is a downside. When you are really going as fast as you can, you're prone to bumping into things. And I bumped into Savannah Black.

Why her?

She gave me disgusted look and muttered "Do boys even have eyes?", then went back to talking to her cousin, Clarisse Fernsby.

This gave Uncle Vernon the perfect opportunity to snatch the letter from my hand. He then sauntered proudly to the car and shoved me inside and as we drove away, the only thought in my head was
'Ugh! Girls!"

Hi! I hope you enjoyed that chapter and seeing Savannah and Harry interact! Don't take Savannah for being mean, though! I just tried to incorporate that unspoken hatred boys and girls have for each other at 11 years old! Anyway, as usual, vote comment and follow! Also, credits to my SUPER editor FluffyRainbowPower. You should follow her too.

That's it for today!
