❤chapter 1❤

a/n- I'm just warning everybody now that this story is not going to be  using the same words as it does in the series I don't want to go through watching every episode to get the words right but once I edit it at some point I will obviously make it better.

Maya walks next to her sister through the gates of Alfea, whilst one is wearing headphones to blackout the feelings the other is trying too use her sisters thoughts and feelings to calm her own. The thing with Maya is when she listens to music it makes her more stressed she claims she can "hear the thoughts of the words". In all honesty that's just the best way to describe how she was feeling whether the people around her believed her or not, the music just puts more thoughts into her head so instead she just focusses on her sisters calmness.

The mind sisters both hate it when people call them twins they don't know why it just never sounded right to them, so as the sisters settled  into the room they shared with an earth fairy called terra they tried to block everything out as much as they could, but this earth fairy is very alive and has a lot of emotions to go with the thoughts in her head.

Maya only came out of her own thoughts when said earth fairy started a conversation, it was safe to say she could no longer focus on her sisters calm thoughts. "I know its a lot" Terra started, that's when Maya finally realised how many plants were in the room that they had to share, "Shocker. Earth fairy likes plants.", She continued nervously, considering that both sisters were just sat on there beds watching her seeming uninterested, well, Musa wasn't really interested but Maya always liked plants and the out doors, that's why she was hoping to get along with Terra, despite Terra having a very busy head Maya hoped that they could become friends. She admired earth fairies, she honestly wished that she could change her fairy status to an earth fairy it would be a whole lot better than having to listen to everyone's thoughts and feel everything going along with them. "I've got a cousin called Flora, and my mums called Rose, and my dad works in the greenhouse. That's why I know a load of second years. I grew up in Alfea so...", The mind fairy trailed off not knowing exactly what to say next but luckily Musa picked dup the conversation.

"why is Stella in our dorm if she's a second year?", Musa asked, her tone implying that she was  trying to make the conversion less awkward and merely trying to be kind to the very bubbly girl.

"I don't know-Actually-I", She immediately squeaked out trying to sound as normal as possible in front of the two mind fairy's. "An administrative thing?", Terra questioned trying to cover up her mistake. Maya didn't even have to use her magic to tell she was lying but brushed past it as another question popped into her head.

"wait a second, who's Stella?", The earth fairy looked at the girl shocked as she hasn't spoken the entire time, but said girl just thought the other girl was just trying to ignore her talking about her plants. "oh, sorry I haven't spoken yet have i well you probably already know my name but i wasn't really listening to the conversation before hand so ill just introduce myself", Maya spoke to the girl in a kind voice before she turned to give her a dazzling smile, "hi I'm Maya this ignorant sod's sister" she said whilst pointing at Musa who tried to hide her amused smile by rolling her eyes. "But I actually don't know who Stella is" 

Before Terra could even open her mouth to utter a word at the girls question, said girl walked in with an annoyed expression, "me I'm Stella" the light fairy spoke in the most annoyed voice she could muster before turning to Terra. "This is a shared space Terra. The secret garden was a secret for a reason." Stella spoke to the earth fairy trying to get the point across that other people need there space but Terra had other ideas. 

"Actually, that is not quite the message of the secret garden," Terra boasted, "If anything its a story about how the things are kept private, their benefits aren't fully appreciated," the earth fairy looked at the princess with a wild smile and excited expression until she finally caught on to Stella just stood there unfazed at her fact looking at all the plants with an distaste.

"okay," Terra muttered when she finally caught on and walked out of the room to collect a ew of her plants. Maya decided to follow the earth fairy feeling her dampened emotions, and help her collect a few plants whilst trying to lift her mood.

"Y'know" The mind fairy started when she was close enough to Terra to make her jump for not realizing she had been followed but still offered a soft smile, "I've always been fascinated in plants and nature" 

Terra smiled softly thinking this was just an act to make her feel better, "its ok, its fine really you don't have to pretend" She  spoke on her way back to the shared room.

"No honestly" Maya followed her, "I've always loved the outdoors and the greenery it would just calm me down if you don't believe me ask Musa it used to drive her crazy finding me laid on the wet grass whilst it was raining" she laughed a little at the memory, "sometimes you just need to find people who get you but that doesn't always mean they have to like all your plants." 

As she placed the plants down on Terra's windowsill she noticed her thankful smile and she gave an awkward smile back, honestly she was just focussed in the moment and completely forgot she was speaking but still enjoyed that it uplifted Terra's mood. That was until her head started pounding signalling that she couldn't stop her magic from flowing and instead has to listen to every emotion and thought, so instead she just tries to excuse herself from the situation. so as Aisha walks in with more thoughts Maya decides to speak up.

"hey... I think I'm gonna go outside for a bit of fresh air" She spoke whilst looking at the only other mind fairy in the room who happened to be her sister that nodded in understanding.

That's how the mind fairy found herself walking the outsides of Alfea taking in her surroundings for the first time.

This is the first chapter to my new book and I really hope people will enjoy this when its finished but for now just kick back and relax whilst reading the first chapter.
