💜chapter 6💜

Maya stood in front of the vessel hands on either side with glowing eyes trying to project her magic into something visual, but the students began to murmur wondering as to why her eyes were glowing, yet nothing was being revealed but whilst the mind fairy was trying to concentrate on the vessel the power surrounding her wasn't making it easy for her so separate others thoughts from her own. 

Headmistress Dowling walked up to Maya, noticing her struggles, "Maya your focusing too much on the people you don't need to focus on the people who keep you calm, allow yourself to see its power" she whispered before walking to the other side of the vessel and watching like the others.

Maya nodded he head trying to focus on her sister and her calm thoughts and feelings, and harnessing the power. Although she was not calm and her emotions were still going haywire she could fell herself extract the power from the circle. She could feel the tingle in her fingers that now felt like they were connected by a long thick string. She could feel the glow at the back of her eye lids telling her that she was absorbing the power correctly when Maya opened her eyes she could hear the slight confusion in peoples murmurs.

Not understanding what is was about she carried on reeling in the power until she created glowing purple waves with a stripe of dull green running through the middle, like it was missing its power. Not understanding what was happening Maya turned her head to Dowling who was looking at the girl thoughtfully and what looked like awe.

After coming out of her trance Ms. Dowling spoke up in a soft tone with a polite tone trying to minimize the surprise, "good job Maya..... keep up the good work."

After Blooms failed attempt at the stone circle and lashing out at the headmistress they all decided to go to lunch. Well everybody else wanted to go to lunch but Maya was dragged their by Musa, You know why, because she hates social gatherings and it turns out that at lunch you have to eat with other people AND socialize. But worst of all the mind fairy is always flooded with everyone's thoughts and feelings and they just don't stop no matter how hard she tries.

Musa was obviously not enjoying the this social time either considering her eyes kept flickering around the room every once and a while stopping on certain people at her eyes change from their normal brown to a bright purple . Most mind fairies who were still learning suffered from not being able to turn their magic off unlike their peers. Sometimes Maya wishes that she had something that she could use to block out her powers like Musa does when using music.

Little does she know that this school is the best place to find it.

This isn't me continuing the story yet I just found this unpublished chapter in the drafts and decided to publish it but I haven't proof read it so I'm sorry if anything is wrong with it.
