4. Critique

You're probably wondering how your story will be critiqued and rightfully so since it is a competition. The 4 main things we will be reviewing are...

1. Characters

Yes, characters are indeed important to a story (who knew?). The character will be critiqued differently based on if you invented the character yourself or if it is one taken from the show.
If you made up the character your main job is to make sure that she/he is interesting and is an actual character (not a stereotype).
If you have taken a character from the show (let's say Kagari) we expect you to keep him in character. Sure you can make the character grow as a person but if the character changes too fast and without reason, that's a foul.

2. Plot

Surprise, surprise a story needs a plot aswell. The Plot will be viewed as an objective that the main character of your story has and needs to accomplish (whatever it may be).
But (and I stress this) remember that a Plot isn't something small and it shouldn't be ignored. (We don't care how long or short the story is, there better be an end goal)

3. Entertainment

This may not be a common problem but... (You: Better safe than sorry? Us: Exactly).
In a story there are certain things you have to do, one is not boring your readers to death. If a comedy or a drama, we need to want to continue reading your story.

4. Logic

Unlike the one before this is actually a common problem (I, myself, am guilty of this).
In any story the actions of the character have to make sense. You can't have someone you've described as lazy/insecure/nice/down-to-earth/etc do the exact opposite every time he/she gets the chance.
The transitions and the grammar shouldn't be neglected either, since they also have to make sense (huge shocker, right?).

5. The Stories Have To Be In English

And last but not least, the language. As much as I'd like to let every fan enter their story, I can't since we speak english (For the most part, at least). One doesn't need to think too hard to understand why the story needs to be english. (Because how are we suppose to review a story if we can't read it?)

That is all for the critique, I hope you use the knowlege we have written down to your best advantage. Have a lovely day.
