CHAPTER 58

Today was their wedding day. Yes, today was the day when Naina and Viraj were finally going to tie the knot. Naina leaned against the bed headboard and recalled all the moments that she spent with him. It was so surreal. She was going to marry him in a few hours.

Nothing had gone according to her plan. Her 23rd birthday was in another two days. They were supposed to tell her parents that day but her parents ended up coming here which reversed the entire plan. She knew that this was the last few minutes of peace that she was going to get.

After this she's going to be bombarded by her friends. Who will force her to do make up, talk about bridal wear blah blah. She glanced at her hands which wereadorned with henna. She traced his named that was concealed between designs making it hard for him to find. Her mehndi appeared super dark, which caused her friends to tease her endlessly saying that Viraj loves her lot. All Naina could do was sit there and blush like a tomato.

She was relived that her shopping was finally over. She had bought a red saree and some anarkali suits which she planned on wearing after the wedding. It wasn't a big wedding, it was just a court marriage but for the both of them that meant more than anything.

She smiled when she heard her phone ping indicating that someone had sent her a text. That someone was none other than her soon to be husband. "Can't wait for today! I'm finally going to have my family!" Naina rolled her eyes and decided to reply.

"I'm waiting eagerly too! Also you already have me and Veer! This is just to make it legal! Remember that!" Naina sent the text and sighed waiting for his reply. "As you say ma'am! Okay I got to go! Annie has already started fussing over me! If I don't get ready now she'll have my head on the platter! See you at the end of the aisle!"

Naina laughed while reading the text. "Well, looks like yours started a bit early than mine! Anyway I'll see you at the end of the aisle!" After sending the text Naina shut her phone and put it on the bedside table. Their muhurat also known as auspicious time was at 11:30 exactly after 4 hours.

Naina was enjoying her peaceful time she was surprised that none of her friends had barged in yet. Just then Isha and Neena stormed inside the room while Naina groaned and banged her head against the board. "It's a good thing your awake! One less thing to do!" Naina rolled her eyes.

"Well, don't just sit there! Get up! Move your ass! Go take a bath! We have lots of things to do!" Naina groaned leaning her head against the bed post. "Please! Give me a few more minutes! Besides it's not even a big wedding! What are you fussing about?" Neena and Isha shook their head in disapproval.

"So what? It's still your special day! You have to look good! Now get up and go!" Neena dragged her out of bed while Isha shoved a towel into her hand and together both her friends pushed her into the washroom. Naina sighed and decided to take a shower.
