I sprinted out of the bakery. I cannot believe what just happened. What was I thinking being so bold around him? I flirted with him, oh my god I really flirted with him. Shit shit I'm so stupid. Does he think I'm desperate? I rushed down the stairs of the bakery and waited for Neena and Isha to arrive.
I was standing there tapping my foot impatiently waiting for them to show up. What the hell was taking them so long? Finally the queens walked down the stairs with wide smiles on their faces. I pointed my finger at them and warned them "Don't, not a word out of your mouths! Otherwise I'm going to be very mad and lord save the both of you".
They tried to stop grinning like idiots, raised their hands in surrender and made a zipping action gesturing that they were going to shut their mouths. They better shut up, if they know what's good for them, idiots.
Isha booked a cab for us, we still had a few places to visit in the itinerary.I didn't want them to miss visiting those places because of me. I told them to drop me off at the orphanage and go visit those places. "Come on Naina, don't be like that. All of us should go together." Neena whined, Isha was no better.
My head started pounding, might as well go it's just another place. They weren't going to give up any way. "Okay fine both of you stop it I'm coming let's go visit this Paltan bazaar eventhough I'm not in a mood for shopping right now, I need to be sane for that but whatever." I huffed, Neena and Isha started cheering. Once again I told them to shut up.
One of the things that I despise the most is shopping. I hate shopping to the core. It stresses me out a lot. Gosh the things we do for friends. We could have visited the other places but it was already late, hence the shopping.
The cab finally arrived and we got in. I sat in the backseat near the window gazing at the view as we passed by. I put my jacket on as it was cold. It's always cold here when it's at the break of dawn and when it's the start of dusk.
Paltan Bazaar is called every shopper's den, why am I not surprised. Paltan Bazaar is among the most happening and lively places in Dehradun. The bazaars start from Clock Tower till the railway station. We can buy inexpensive clothes, fancy shoes, bags, handicrafts, and there are some interesting food joints and street food stalls too. Thank God that there were stalls which had other things besides clothes.
Once we reached the destination I could see the clock tower. The clock tower is famous for it's beautiful design and is one of it's kind in Asia. It was located on Rajpur Road, the Clock Tower has six faces, a feature which makes it unique. It was built before Independence, the Clock Tower is not functional anymore, yet is still an important landmark in the city and can be seen from a distance. It looked so pretty and ethereal.
It was really pretty, it appeared to be of Victorian era.The first thing the three of us did once we got down the car was to run towards the clock tower and take some pictures. After about a million clicks, with different poses and silly faces, we sent some pictures to our parents too and we moved towards the stalls.
